Welcome to the House on Cora! - A delightful Hill Country retreat in the heart of Fredericksburg, Texas! This charming property offers not one, but two houses – the main house and the casita – providing the perfect getaway for up to 10 guests. During your stay, you'll have full access to both structures, ensuring a spacious and comfortable stay for everyone in your group.

The Space:
The main house is designed to accommodate your needs with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, featuring a total of 5 cozy beds. Note, there is a trundle bed in the living room that pulls out to create the 2 single beds. The main house also features a spacious living room with a TV and a fully equipped kitchen to share memorable dining experiences with your loved ones.

In the casita, it's a pretty open concept. You'll find a convenient kitchenette, a private bathroom. As well as a queen sized bed, a breakfast table and a TV with some cozy chairs to kick back and relax. You'll also have access to your own carport for parking your vehicles.

Step outside to the fully fenced backyard, a private oasis where you can unwind and enjoy the Hill Country atmosphere. The private patio offers a peaceful retreat for morning coffee or evening conversations. For the ultimate relaxation, indulge in the inviting hot tub, soothing away any worries, or sway in the hammock as you immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature.

Also, please note we have routine spa maintenance scheduled midweek. Typically, maintenance will take roughly 15 minutes, and the spa will be available for use after the service is completed.

Also note, that the casita (bedroom 4) is a detached structure from the main house.

If you're considering bringing a furry friend along, kindly be aware we do have a $50 pet fee per pet. Please remember to inform us in advance if you plan to bring a pet.

The house was super cute, in a good neighborhood, and an easy walk to main. The beds were VERY comfortable, The kitchen amenities were great - including good cookware which you rarely find in a rental! Our only struggle was one of the “couches” was a daybed that was difficult for us to sit comfortably on (we were a group of 50-60 year old couples), but we would still highly recommend this place and would definitely return!!!

A Great Place to Gather and Vacay

This home is very cute, clean, with warm touches of creature comforts. These owners do not give you a long laundry list of do's before you vacate. That was a first for us. Also, when the storm took out our electricity, they answered the call promptly after midnight and alerted us there was an outage in the area. It did not last long. This place will be my first pick when staying in Fredericksburg. All of us really enjoyed the peace and quiet and convenience to town.

The best host ever

I communicated with Joe several times during our stay. He answered each time within roughly 15 minutes. He was very positive each time we communicated. If I could give Joe more than 5 stars, I would. Three “girlfriends” from college and I got together to celebrate turning 70. It was perfect for four adults. We each had our own room and we really enjoyed the back deck. Downtown is an easy walk. It’s also an easy drive for groceries or to get out of town. All in all, our stay here was very fun and relaxing.

What a gem!

We had such a fantastic stay at Cora! The house was perfect for our group of six adults—spacious, comfortable, and even better than the pictures. The location was excellent, very walkable to town with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. We especially loved the hot tub and spending our mornings sipping coffee on the porch. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend! I would definitely book this house again if my travels bring me back to the area!
