Property is obviously under some renovations. After being told Expedia over sold rooms, I was moved to a 2 queen room instead of a King room I had booked and prepaid for. Sink had large cracks in it and several other flaws in bathroom. Was still charged an incidental fee at check in.

we had a handicap room. the toilet and shower were in a separate room from the vanity. the vanity had no door.the shower room had no where to sit out side the shower. the toilet had no seat. nowhere to sit or flat surface to lay clothes to get dressed, to get dressed you had to go into the bedroom nude from the shower. no clock or microwave. hvac was loud could not hear tv when heat or air was running. other than that everything was fine.

This felt like a spring break hotel vs a normal Hyatt Place. No requests were honored as any booking through a 3rd party like Expedia gets you treated like a second class citizen at best. Will not be back.

The only problem we had was thin walls. Late at night the people next door had their tv on loudly. We called the front desk and it was quieter after that, but we could still hear every word through the walls. The staff were great - very helpful and friendly.

False advertisement

I want to start by saying that I have been staying at Hyatt hotels for many years! Sadly, I have never been as disappointed as I was during this stay. The lower level is under renovation, which the website stated would be finished over a month ago. I looked past that issue until I got to my room and noticed that the hallways were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. My room door and the door beside it had wood chips falling off, and both locks looked like they had been pried open at some point. The bathrooms were clearly only quickly wiped down. The pool was closed with no mention of it on the website, yet they are still using it as a selling point. This is clearly false advertising, and we could have stayed at many other hotels in the area. To add insult to injury, they suggested that we use the gym instead to get what we paid for—as if they are the same. I chose this hotel for sentimental reasons and because I have never had a bad experience until now.

We stayed there with our volleyball team during a tournament. Hotel is a good option for families. There were other volleyball, soccer & cheer teams there. Rooms was clean, beds & pillows were good and the staff was friendly. I think the property under went renovation, but might be behind schedule. There was a pile of furniture in the alcove in the pool area, which is very small and packed with kids. Wall paper was peeling and the initial first impression was meh. It was clean and convenient and my daughter enjoyed her time with her teammates. Mission accomplished.
