Nice, clean property conveniently located just outside of old town Fredricksburg. You can hear traffic from room during the day but the traffic dies down after dark and we didn’t notice the noise. The breakfast was plentiful but we choose not to eat it.

When we arrived at hotel and went to our Rm 213, the refrigerator or microwave wasn’t working. Called down stairs and was told by the gentleman, that he was aware that the only way it works is by leaving light switch on. This meant we had to leave the light on all night. This was not a option. So went back downstairs and he said they are aware of this problem.so why did he put us in a room that was not accommodating? Moved us next door to Rm 215. We were moving to the next room and the keys would not work and had to go back downstairs to get the keys rekeyed. Guess What The electrical plug was also messed up in Rm 215. Our fan didn’t work !! We also had 24 pkg of water. Someone came in the room and took that. We reported that and all we got was sorry. Also the phone on the room didn’t work. I have stayed with your hotel many times, I was embarrassed by the hotel with so many problems. We were there celebrating my daughter’s 50th birthday. I hated that it was so many problems. We stayed the 2 nights in Fredericksburg and went to New Braunsfel for 1 night under my sister name. Went and had dinner that evening, came back getting ready for bed, my sister turned the covers back and the sheets were dirty with dirt in the bed. Called front desk and we could come and get clean sheets and change them ourselves because she was the only one there. Didn’t even ask if we wanted a different room. That she would let her general manager know.

My toilet seat was very loose and when I tried to tighten it it would not tighten properly and so it was not very comfortable. Then at around 2:00 am the fire alarm started beeping but I didn’t want to go downstairs to inform the front desk people so I just covered my head with a pillow and was able to get back to sleep. I did inform the front desk employee the next morning and she said she would let the maintenance person know about the problems in my room.

Perfect little spot to stay at

It’s always nice staying at this hotel when we come to town to enjoy some of the wineries. It is in a central location, not to far from main and not too from wineries. Rooms are clean. Check in and check out are easy.
