LOCATION - 1.5 miles north of Main St.
HOSTS - Quiet, private home to yourselves but there is a separate two-story cottage at the rear of the property that may be occupied during your stay
SLEEPS - Up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms; 1 king bedroom & 3 queen bedrooms
BATH - 2.5 baths; one bath has a walk-in shower & the other has a tub/shower combo. There is a half bath in the pool room.
KITCHEN - Fully-equipped & well stocked kitchen with a Keurig coffeemaker, sous vide & soda stream
BREAKFAST - None; coffee & tea provided
AMENITIES - 55” Smart TV with Cable TV, wood burning fireplace (some wood provided), game room with pool table that converts to a ping pong table or dinner table with bench seats & a dart board, poker table, covered pool & large hot tub located inside a screened in porch with pool seating, grill prep station & 2nd refrigerator, charcoal smoker & grill, fully fenced yard, newly installed tankless water heater in the house, washer & dryer

Up to two dogs are allowed but there is an additional nightly pet fee of $54/dog/night (before tax). Due to the fact that VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please notify us at the time of booking if you'll be bringing multiple dogs. We also ask that you crate it in your absence from the house, do not allow it on any of the furniture or beds, do not allow it in the pool area, and pick up and dispose of its waste appropriately. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

Please be aware that the house has security cameras on the front porch, lamp in the front lawn, back porch, and storage building.

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.

We were so happy with our stay! The hosts were responsive and kind and the place itself was wonderful. Big, clean and close to everything. The pool and hot tub space is great! The home has everything you could ever need. Tons of towels including pool towels, toaster, pots/pans, grater, baking pans, grilling utensils, tons of plates, bowels, cups, wine glasses, I could go on and on. They were also generous with necessities like TP and paper towels. All very convenient. We really enjoyed the game room where we played many games of pool. Would stay here again without hesitation!

We loved the Madeira Haus. Perfect location, beds were comfy, bathrooms were very nice and a nicely stocked kitchen for cooking. The ONLY thing i would recommend is bring your own grill if you plan on cooking out, the one there has seen better days. The covered pool was AMAZING loved the concept, it does get super cold since its not in the sunlight, but the kids loved it! We had so much fun playing darts and pool too. Overall a great family vacation!

Great pool and hot tub

This is a very clean and comfortable house. The description is accurate. We enjoyed the local cuisine, the hot tub, the pool table, and the spacious home. Please note this is an area that has small scorpions, a couple of which died in the pool. It cannot be prevented, so please be careful. The local eating and shopping are really great and the house is just a few minutes from main street.

This property has it all, amazing layout, entertainment, cozy and clean. We almost cancelled our plans of going out to tour the wineries because the property was just so accommodating. Super clean house, layout is cozy, lots of space to enjoy cooking and eating together. The pool and hot tub are huge! We played pool, darts, almost didn’t leave to enjoy Fredericksburg! (We did 😉) Thank you for the enjoyable stay.
