Our spacious, bright holiday rental is located at the foot of the Johannisberg forest (605 m) in Freudenberg, which has plenty to offer hikers and cyclists.
The house is surrounded by a spacious property featuring a natural pond with a dock and a gushing waterfall—perfect for swimming in nature. The approximately 85 m² apartment features a living room with a south-facing balcony, a kitchen with a dining area, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, and a separate toilet. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, our holiday rental also includes the following amenities: coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher, ironing board, iron, clothes rack, hair dryer, TV, radio, umbrella, shopping basket, a small selection of reading material, and hiking maps of the region.
Free Wi-Fi and a garage are also available to you.
An extra bed can be provided upon request.

The picturesque village of Freudenberg offers a bakery and a butcher shop, as well as the multi-award-winning Märkl Brewery, the Dotzler restaurant, the staffed “Schmiealm” sheep hut, and a modern outdoor swimming pool. The Nordic Walking Sports Parc is also practically right on your doorstep.

Just 10 km away lies the 120-meter-high Monte Kaolino, the “white mountain” in Hirschau. A trip there is well worth it, as a thrilling summer toboggan run, sand skiing, a high ropes course, and mini-golf await you.
The historic city of Amberg is also just 10 km away. Thanks to the good connection to the A6, you can easily reach Regensburg and Nuremberg.

Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung, samt Einrichtung ist super für einen Urlaub mit zwei Kindern. Die Gastgeber Vorort sind sehr liebevoll und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Wir empfehlen ganz klar diese Ferienwohnung und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Wir waren nur für 2 Nächte hier, hätten es aber auch länger ausgehalten. Wir wurden von der Frau Rogner senior in Empfang genommen. Diese Dame ist so liebenswert und zuvorkommend, haben wir so noch nicht erlebt. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Auch Herr Rogner junior ist sehr nett und hatte viele Informationen und Tipps für uns. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und super ausgestattet. Alles mit Liebe eingerichtet. Auf dem eigenen Weiher durften wir mit dem hauseigenen Kanu fahren. Sehr idyllisch. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir gerne wieder! Vielen Dank für ein schönes Wochenende!Familie Koch

Sehr schöne, gemütliche und geräumige Ferienwohnung mit einer tollen Aussicht. Wir haben von hier aus viele schöne Wanderungen und Städtetouren unternommen. Auch das nahe gelegene Freibad hat uns sehr gefallen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastfreundlichkeit der Familie Rogner mit vielen Ausflugstipps und netten Gesprächen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Ein echter Geheimtipp

Wer ein wenig Ruhe abseits der Hektik der Metropolen sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Trotz ständigem Regen haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, nicht zuletzt auch wegen der Unkompliziertheit und Herzlichkeit der Hausleute. Ein Muss ist ein Spaziergang zur Johanniskirche mit anschließender Einkehr in der Schmiealm!

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird. Sehr hilfreich waren die Restaurantinformationen. In der Umgebung findet sich für jeden etwas. Besonders hat uns Amberg gefallen.

Sehr geräumige, helle Wohnung. Auch für Familien mit Kindern sehr gut geeignet. Ebenso gibt es einen lieber Hund, zwei Katzen und 2 Pferde. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Bäcker, Metzger und Gaststätte im Ort, zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Während des Aufenthaltes ergaben sich immer wieder nette Kontakte zu den Vermietern. Vielen Dank dafür. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es interessante und schöne Ausflugsziele: z.B. Freilandmuseum Neusatt bei Nabburg, Radtouren an der Fils und Naab, Wanderungen im Hirschwald etc.

Einfach genial 😀

Unser Urlaub auf dem Hof der Familie Rogner war rundum schön. Die Wohnung ist schön groß und richtig gemütlich. Der sehr nette Empfang war nur der Einstieg und wir haben den Austausch mit der gesamten Familie Rogner sehr genossen. Das schöne Wetter bescherte uns entspannte Stunden am idyllischen Weiher, aber auch die Nähe zu Nürnberg, Pilsen und Regensburg fanden wir super. Die lieben und entspannten Tiere hätten wir am liebsten alle mitgenommen 😉 Wir werden wohl einfach mal wiederkommen "müssen" 😃
