Odalys - accommodation in Fribourg

Location is in the middle of the old town right next to one of the plazas where markets and festivals can be held. Only 10-15 min walk from Bern train station. Across from Starbucks if you care for it. And no worries, no all-night loud music like some cities in Europe. Everything is packed up by 6-7pm. My room was small but comfy and enough for my needs. Would love to have a refrigerator in the room, but the communal refrigerator and the shared kitchen were great (everyone/all guests were respectful during my trip except a few who left their used dishes in the sink.) Extra love for the roofdeck where you could watch sunset with a 360 degree view. All staff members were very helpful and gave me a bunch of good ideas to enjoy my Swiss journey. The hotel setup is unique: self checkin via mobile phone (with staff assistance if needed). So, make sure you have your phone services ready.

Very helpful staff, good breakfast but no a/c.

Uniquely centered steps from the famous Catédral St. Nicholas... Museums, Dining, College St. Michel, historic / Medieval charm and absolutely one-of-its-kind architectural details. We started taking pix of the "Doors of Fribourg" and then "the Windows of Fribourg" as a lark. The breakfast was a bit expensive, but delicious and expansive. Frankly, a breakfast could serve one for two meals with good proteins, fruit, and delicious pastries of all kinds.
