Amazing Fuji-san views

Pros: Beautiful, comfortable Japanese style rooms with private outdoor hot tubs and Mt Fuji views. Lovely food.
Cons: A little expensive.
I stayed in the Konansou Ryokan with my husband and two kids (8 & 1 years old) in April. I could not find any fault in the ryokan: the staff were friendly and accommodating, the expansive Mt Fuji views from the hot-tub were amazing, the banquet style dinner and breakfast were both fantastic. We also enjoyed the public baths, also with mountain views. The ryokan is expensive, and it is possible to luck out with the weather and not catch a glimpse of Mt Fuji - however lucky for us the clouds parted, and that view from the hot-tub was worth every penny!
