This nice apartment is located in Ajuda, one of the tourist/housing areas of the city of Funchal. Close to the sea and promenade, this property is perfect to relax after intense days of discovering the charms of our island.
With two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds, and a pleasantly decorated living room, this property has a maximum capacity of four people.
From the living room or the balcony you have a beautiful view of the blue Atlantic Ocean.
The apartment is fully equipped with all amenities and has a free parking space.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
Situated in one of the most prestigious tourist areas of Funchal, this apartment is close to a pleasant promenade, beaches, supermarkets, pharmacies, stores and the shopping center Forum Madeira, which has several international brands and movie theaters.
Nearby there are several bars and restaurants where you can delight yourself with our gastronomy or with international cuisine. Besides the closest options, you can also go to Funchal city center (five minutes by car) where you will find a larger variety of restaurants.
Praia Formosa beach is about two kilometers away from the apartment, perfect for swimming and sunbathing on the pebble and black sand.

TRANSPORT
For departures and arrivals from the airport, there is an aerobus stop about 2 minutes from the house. For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to reach the apartment will be a transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport!

Ferienwohnung war wie beschrieben, sehr gut incl. Blick aufs Meer. Incl. Parkmöglichkeit in Tiefgarage, wurde aber von uns nicht benötigt. Objekt und Gegend macht einen sehr gute Eindruck, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten incl. Supermarkt vor der Tür und 7 Tage geöffnet. Können wir ohne Bedenken weiter empfehlen.

Meerblick, Bushaltestelle, Café und Sushi

Sehr saubere Wohnung, sie hat einen Balkon mit Meerblick, weil die Wohnung im sechsten Stock liegt und die davorliegenden Häuser überragt. Es gibt einen Lift. Die Wohnung ist umgeben von den üblichen Stadtgeräuschen inklusive einer Lüfteranlage auf dem Dach des Einkaufszentrums Forum Madeira unterhalb des Balkons. Uns hat das nicht gestört, aber wer absolute Ruhe sucht, könnte enttäuscht sein. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich 100 m links auf der Straßenseite der Wohnung, die Linie 4 fährt direkt ins Stadtzentrum. Gleich nebenan gibt es ein hervorragendes Sushirestaurant. Gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite, 100 m rechts gibt es Milhos Bakery, wo man ganz vorzüglichen Espresso, Galão und die tollsten Kuchen genießen kann. Im Park Ajuda um die Ecke befindet sich 2 Tischtennisplatten, die wir gern genutzt haben. Dort kann man auch andere Sportarten betreiben. Die Betreuung durch die Agentur An Island Apart, welches die Wohnung managt, war ganz hervorragend.

Comfort and Convenience

The apartment is very nice and big with full equipment kitchen and a washing machine. There is a parking place in the garage, which was very convenient for us because we rented a car. There is a big moll nearby where you can buy all you need. Overall, the location served as an ideal starting point for exploring the island. I recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for comfort and convenience during their stay.

Appartment have that you need, for a good holliday. An Island appart, do what they shud do, and it was not problems,and you have the mostly what you need. Minus for the Masterbed, that is nearly to sleep on stone, so a new madrass shud be there. Overall nothing to complain. Odd.
