There were disgusting black marks, and looked like little bugs in the mattresses. Big like Schmear’s of black on the bedding and it was placed strategically and we couldn’t see it till the second night. The manager tried to blame us.
The photo does not give it justice. They were also like little black look like bug shells all over the mattress.

Guests should be aware of uninformed credit card charges. The staff was very welcoming during the check-in and got my ID and credit card for incidentals. The room needs better cleaning. There were food crumbs left on counters and furniture by previous guests. The shower enclosure had previous guest hair, and the metal drain lifted against the wall. A blood stain on the pillow was visible through the pillowcase. The bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is good if you can overlook the other details. An unauthorized charge from the hotel was completed as a purchase on my credit card. Called twice to solve the issue. Staff could not find my reservation even though all documentation was provided during the check-in process. After a long and unpleasant conversation, the manager stated that the charge was due to the usage of a safe in the room, and guests are supposed to tell the front desk during checkout if they don't use the safe, so the charge can be reinstated on the card. No information regarding an extra charge for a room safe is provided during check-in or listed on the Expedia website. Instead of trying to solve the issue, the manager blames the guest for booking through a third party, not reading information on the website (when none is listed), and makes sure to say that the guest will be added to the "unfriendly guest list of Expedia." Please add my name and all my family's names because for sure none of us will stay at this hotel again.

Hallway and room floors had not been vacuumed recently, nor for the entire day we were there. Trash and crumbly stuff was evident. Mold in shower stall in our room should have been easy to remedy but hadn't been taken care of prior to our arrival. Our king bed did not have any type of blanket or cover other than a sheet on the bed and it was a coolish night so we had to turn the heat up extra high. This was not our expectation for this hotel. Front desk staff (Chris) was nice as in prior visits. When we tried to check out I had to call out 3 times for the lady in the office to even acknowledge that I was there and I requested a receipt. She informed me I would have to get that from the third party we booked through this time and she was rather rude. Again, not what we expected. Hopefully, things will improve there or we will find another hotel chain.
