Overall it is a very nice hotel for what we use it for. We go and play all night at Winstar casino and only go sleep for a couple hours and shower. The beds are comfy and the showers are clean and nice. We will definitely be back.

Lacking Customer Service

The female at the front desk lacked customer service. Had an air pod in the whole time. Seem annoyed when we checked in, and really annoyed when we paid cash for snacks and water. Service was terrible. The gentleman in front of me checking in was also frustrated with the female worker. Owners and managers this is a reflection on you. Please train her in Basic customer service 101. Please do not tolerate this from staff. Otherwise you will continue to have upset customers. I don't know if she was just having a bad day, but our experience could have been much better. I gave a 3 star not because of the actual hotel. The Hotel was very clean and nice. Housekeeping was very helpful and friendly. But due to lack of front desk female customer service.

Only perk, Casino is 10mins away.

Staff was less than welcoming, but I am thinking that is just the culture. Checked in at 4p we were on the 4th floor the a/c was set to off so it was hot in the room for it being August in Texas, set it to 60, middle of the night got hot again. Heard every truck/car driving by, heard every door slam on our floor. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Casino is 10mins away. Road construction is ridiculous down 35.

I have a mixed review of this property. It is a big, beautiful new hotel. Room is sparkling clean and well appointed. Housekeeping does a great job. The staff is very nice and professional. They have a well stocked little store in the lobby area that sells frozen pot pies, canned goods and ramen, as well as desserts and snacks, medications commonly used when traveling, and soft drinks. My particular problem with the place was it is in an area next to the freeway that is under development now. There are many other hotel chains also built recently in the vicinity and someday I can see this location established as a nice place to stop when traveling with your pet, with sidewalks and restaurants within walking distance. If you are beat down tired from driving all day long and the last thing you want to do after getting there and realizing there is nowhere close to eat except gas station food, and nothing to do arround your hotel except look at the freeway construction and dirt and fields surrounding it, you might be a little bored and disappointed. Lastly, my bed was not comfortable and the pillows were hard and gave me a stiff neck the following morning. I still give this property a good solid 4 stars though. These particular issues are temporary and in time will be resolved.

We like to stay at La Quinta because they allow our small dog to stay with us. This La Quinta is a bit outdated. Specific issues with our room included: the office chair was old and all of the fake leather had worn off of it. The baseboard was stained with old vomit or some other type of grossness. The light up mirror in the bathroom did not light up. The mattress was the hardest most spring thing I have slept on since summer camp in the 1980s. Since I don’t believe in simply complaining, I would like to say that the sheets were clean, there was no weird smells. The breakfast buffet was OK. The coffee was hot. The staff was friendly. Would I stay here again? Most likely not.
This was the office chair in our room.
This looked to me like someone had thrown up and it splattered onto the baseboard. Unknown substance.

Great rooms friendly people

Everything was great. People very helpful especially the gentleman who checked us in. We had a wheelchair accessible room. The bathroom was really large but the chair for the shower was huge. Too big for the tub Could use a little more choice of breakfast. Maybe bagels, or danish.

Text message encouraged to use app to make check in faster.Uploaded information to app and was then asked for same info again at check in and was told by staff "they could not access that information"Entire hotel smelled of mildew.Room bathroom needs to be redone - lighting behind mirror did not work, toilet seat was broken, water pressure not good, obvious leak in ceiling and down wall had a VERY bad patch job done and paint was peeling off ceiling.Location is good, comfortable bed and hotel was quiet.

We arrived In the early morning hours with a a reservation and once we finally got checked in we went to our room which was not ac cooled. We were tired and going to bed and noticed insects (German roaches) infested the mattresses and headboard. We were finally issued another room and sent to the fourth floor. The room was adequate yet hot inside. The young lady at the front desk would not give us door cards to the new room without surrender v the door card for the infested room. That didn’t sit well since I wanted to inspect the new room for bugs. The new room was across the hall from the Elevator and every time the elevator made it to the 4tb floor it sounded like it was as tearing the elevator apart with a loud metallic bang. We were told that breakfast was served from 6 AM to 10 AM and when we arrive for breakfast having not gotten a lot of sleep at 9:15 they were tearing the breakfast down and putting it away so we did not get to eat all we wanted nor were all the items available. We were not the only person that got the same message. The lobby was also without AC and the front doors were wide open morning and night
