1860’s Farmhouse has been completely remodeled and updated with designer touches in every room. Located right near the Olympic Rowing Venue and a short drive to downtown Gainesville. Home is three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Two bedrooms on the main floor each have their own fireplace and smart TV. Master bath has large walk in shower with two shower heads and claw foot soaking tub. Additional bathroom downstairs also has large vanity and walk in shower. A large bedroom upstairs has two queen beds and one twin bed with a trundle. The upstairs living room holds a queen sleeper sofa. Keeping room downstairs has a large sectional. Cook’s kitchen has everything you will need and large custom dining table makes it possible to enjoy each meal with amazing lake views. The front of house has double rocking chair front porches and the large back porch leads to a grill and picnic table. A single slip dock is on the property for guest to dock a boat, sunbathe, or fish. Also a large fire pit for your enjoyment. Alpine Village in Helen Ga only 30 min drive, Atlanta Botanical Gardens only 5 min drive, Dahlonega Ga only 45 min drive ( Gold Rush museum). NASCAR Hall of fame Dawsonville Ga only 50 min Drive. Beautiful Lakeside Retreat

We stayed here during August with four adults and four kids. We were very comfortable in this modern house with very nice furnishings. The AC was excellent. The house is perfectly situated, with a huge yard leading to the lake. There is an awesome firepit in the backyard, and we roasted marshmallows and made smores, the kids loved it. We took out the paddleboat, and enjoyed the lake. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would mention that there are plenty of insects around, and while they didn't bother us, they might bother other people.

The place overall was fantastic. Lots of TVs beds etc. The protected cove for swimming and boating was phenomenal! Gentle slope to lake! Big backyard for kids to play. The only negatives were the street noise (nothing they can help) and lack of true living room for family gathering.

Our family had a wonderful time. The grandkids loved fishing from the dock and swimming as well as seeing the geese, the deer, the duck and the fox. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation. Hosts were wonderful.

Farmhouse elegance

We couldn’t have asked for a better rental house. Everything you would want was there and more. Even my grandchildren loved the roominess of the house and outside the fishing was great. The accommodations was great. The owner was great! Best house ever rented on the lake with gentle sloping property. Will definitely stay there again!

Great house on a quiet cove

The house is great. The lake access & dock was on a quiet cove of Lanier with very little boat activity. We were able to relax and have fun. My only complaint would be the house from the road. The house is directly off a main road.

Great getaway

Fantastic place to just get away and unwind. There yard for the kids to run around, space on the dock to hang out, and back porch to chill on in the evenings. This was a great place for our needs and made our weekend super easy.

AMAZING “STAYCATION”

This house is beautiful and just as advertised. The accommodations were top notch and the fact that their were enough bath towels for a small city was proof the owners really thought of everyone. This is exactly what a person thinks of when imagining a “lake” house. Loved it! Will be staying here again- and we just live 20 minutes away and it felt as if we had taken an 8 hour trip to a wonderful destination! 💕 contact with the owner is amazing and so greatly appreciated!

We absolutely loved the home. It was a very relaxing area bear many great places to visit and explore. Just one thing you will hear the occasional street traffic at night and trains but it did not impact our sleeping or live of this home. My family and I will be back.
