Not sure what this would be like, went at last minute so fortunate to find. Beautiful setting and view, really relaxing and separate from hubbub of downtown Galena. The management staff (Alfredo) was super nice and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and the fireplace was amazing. They had plenty of wood in the room and there was firestarters and matches right by the fireplace. They had a really nice continental breakfast and board games and DVDs available. The sunsets and views were amazing. We would definitely book here again!

Nothing close nearby-but we had a vehicle and it was a lovely spot with a lake and gazebo. We chose it for the fireplace. It had a DVD player in the room with DVDs and games available for borrowing from the front desk. This was an extra fun bonus.

The property is off the beaten path a little bit, which is very nice. Pets are welcome. Staff is very friendly. Recommended several places in town and things to do on our arrival. Continental breakfast is basic but nice quick bite. Pool was closed(Late Feb stay). In room wood fireplace and free firewood is awesome. Will return.
