Cool hotel with history. Being remodeled. The lobby was very nice. We ate at the hotel restaurant. The food and service was good. Check in was smooth.

The hotel is nostalgic and fun to visit. We had two good meals in the restaurant. Staff are very friendly. We booked a "deluxe" room with a king bed, which was very comfortable. However, it was the tiniest room with the tiniest bathroom that we have ever stayed in! I recommend the hotel and restaurant, but I don't recommend the deluxe rooms.

Staying at this hotel was like traveling back to Route 66 as it must have been in its Heyday as a Hollywood getaway. There were photos of different actors and actresses studding the walls and each room was named after a different one of them. We entered in to a beautiful and welcoming Southwestern foyer with a nice cozy fire waiting for us. We loved our room with its own private balcony, the Paulette Goddard room. We had an old fashioned telephone and a clock radio in our room too! We had both dinner last night and breakfast this morning. The names of the menu items were all in keeping with the movie star theme, so that was fun to read. What a fun stop on our trip to Mexico. t West

This hotel has so much charm, we stayed in the annex and it brought you back in time, from the old style fridge and telephone to the accessories and paintings around the room. The bed was so comfortable, it was clean and tidy. I would have liked a more powerful shower but it did the job! The locations is on old route 66 but close to the interstate so convenient for all travellers. It was a little noisy as it is so close to the road but I could forgive that for 1 nights stay. I would definitely stay again.

A Hollywood Western Classic

This hotel is so fun and unique. We like the classic 1950's retro hotels of the southwest and this is one of the best examples we've encountered. Clean and friendly but the room was small. That was the only negative.

Stopped there because it was about halfway between Taos and Sedona, and wasn't expecting much. I enjoyed Hotel El Rancho SO much I definitely plan on staying there in the future!!! The staff was absolutely wonderful, and it's such a fun place!

Staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfy. The nostalgic decor and history of the hotel was everything we hoped it would be for this wonderful Route 66 stop. Will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.
