This third-floor condo is located on the Gulf-front, with lovely grounds that include two pools (one of which is zero-entry with a water feature for kids), a hot tub, a tennis court, a fitness center, grilling and picnic areas, and laundry facilities. Take morning strolls along the seawall and enjoy close proximity to the 61st Street Fishing Pier (half a mile), Moody Gardens (two miles), Schlitterbahn Waterpark (two miles), and Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier (three miles).
Begin each day outside on your balcony, watching the sun come up over the Gulf with a cup of coffee in hand. It's a scene you can admire from inside as well, through floor-to-ceiling windows as you prepare breakfast in the open kitchenette (with a mini-fridge, a two-burner stovetop, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a dishwasher, but no oven or freezer).
After a gorgeous day at the beach, come home to cool off in central air and share snacks and cold drinks at the breakfast bar, around the windowside dining table, or outside on the balcony. Would not recommend for a party of more than 6, unless someone doesn't mind sleeping on a broken couch bed or fight over the one shower . Other than that the beds were comfortable, the view was breathtaking, the ac did it's job, they were not shy on providing big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash that smelled amazing. Elevator was working the whole 3 night stay . All in all it was a great place with a great location next to the Walmart.
Unit had no curtains on ocean side directly on the busy Seawall with bright lights shining in. Both TVs in bedroom did not work. No remote for 1 room. Knobs off dresser unusable, balcony door didn't lock, outlets in kitchen didn't charge phones or iPads. Definitely needs beach towels for being on a beach. Shelves in bunk room down in closet. Manager came by and wouldn't come in so I could show her our issues and was very rude telling me they could have put curtains up and fixed the TV's. My question is, why wasn't it fixed before we rented it and another guest had the same issues? Owner needs to see this post and fix the issues from VACAS. This was my sister's 70 birthday surprise and it was unsatisfactory and so disappointing for our family. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE OWNER.

Great location. Great view. Nice pool. Nice staff.
The room had 3 televisions but NONE of them worked! It had only one working burner on the stove. The dishwasher was clogged and flooded the kitchen. We were only given 5 towels for 8 people. We were not given any bathroom soap. We asked over and over in the first few days for a working tv, bath soap and towels, but we never were given these things. That is very disappointing, When you pay as much as we did for this week, I think towels and a working tv are not too much to expect!

I do not recommend this unit to anyone. My children cried because there were roaches and the beds were so uncomfortable. We had to relocate our younger children to my sisters house they rented and my oldest daughter left and went home. My husband and i bodies hurt from sleeping in the primary bed. We couldn’t take it anymore so had to leave a day early. Also dealt with roaches. And floor felt dirty when we got there. Pics of roaches attached. I asked the owner for a partial refund. People shouldn’t have to pay for a place that they literally can’t sleep in due to how uncomfortable the beds are! Also the curtains are white and let the lights from the outside in all night and it feels like daytime throughout the whole night! Can’t sleep with all the light! The primary had so many windows , the room needs black out curtains . It was not an enjoyable unit at all. The pans were gross. Probably so unhealthy to cook on with all the scratches. The stove was so unlevel. I hate complaining and leaving bad reviews but this one people need to be warned about ! Especially if you have young kids.
The condo is very dated. There are no curtains in the master bedroom with multiple streetlights directly outside. Therefore, you can not change or sleep in this room because of it. Everyone can see in and it looks like daylight in the middle of the night from the multiple lamps. You can see on the wall where past guest have tried to tape something over the windows with duct tape to fix this problem.
The bar chairs are also very stained and dirty. The fire alarm is falling out of the wall, and appears broken, and has a very large hole behind it.
The unit had been cleaned well though. It is just overall in disrepair.
The staff at the complex was very kind and helpful. It was the unit itself and Vacasa that we were not pleased with.
When we contacted Vacasa that afternoon to try and cancel our stay and go to a hotel we were given the run around. We were told to text photos of our concerns and that the "local team" would be getting back with us. They would not provide us with any information on who the local team was or how to contact them. We were never again contacted and went on to sleep in the bunk beds (which had no door) until morning. Early the next morning we contacted Vacasa again so we could check out and go somewhere else.
Vacasa refused to help until I contacted VRBO and VRBO contacted them while I was still on the line.
