The shower needs fixing. It’s way too hard to pull it up for the shower to turn on. The toilet lid was really loose.

Second chances, still a no.

Pros: The front desk staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. We appreciated being offered early check-in and a complimentary meal coupon for a local restaurant. Additionally, the view from our room was absolutely stunning and a highlight of our stay. Cons: Unfortunately, the condition of the facilities left much to be desired. The elevator made alarming noises that gave the impression it was malfunctioning, and there was a strong odor suggesting a possible hydraulic issue. The pool was murky to the point where the bottom was not visible, which made it unusable for us. Our room was not properly cleaned prior to arrival. There were visible stains on two of the walls, the floor had sand and hair from previous guests, and the toilet paper holder was broken with the roll simply resting on top. The non-slip mat in the bathtub was peeling up and also had hair on it, which was particularly concerning as I needed to use the tub to bathe my child. Additionally, the curtain pull was broken and left lying on the windowsill. I had no intention of leaving a review initially, understanding this was a budget-friendly option. However, approximately 7.5 to 8 hours after eating the continental breakfast, both my husband and I became extremely ill. Based on the timing and symptoms, we suspect the country gravy may have been the cause, especially since it was being kept warm in a small, personal-grade crockpot rather than commercial equipment.

The elevator in the back of the property is a death trap. The door to the room has to be slammed to shut properly. We hear every person walk by. Sure, it looks like they’ve painted but otherwise maintenance of the property is a real letdown. Would not recommend.

Cons: 1. Door handle wouldn’t work without forcing it back up to lock. 2. Microwave didn’t work. 3. Asked the front desk for 3 towels for the second of our 2 night stay, they told me they couldn’t give them to me at the desk and would have to have house keeping bring them. They didn’t bring any and then went to the desk in the morning and a different person got them for me from the office right behind him. 4. An outlet by the bed looked like it had been pried off the wall as well as the shower fan in the bathroom. Pros: 1. location and access to beach was amazing 2. Breakfast was amazing 3. Parking was very easy 4. Great proximity to everything
