Check in and out was very well explained and painless. Stayed with my oldest son here and it was perfect for what we needed, which was a place to sleep, since we were never there during the day-with small kids or my wife I probably would have looked for a different place for more space and to avoid the homeless folks in that area. 2 specifically that hung around made it difficult to enjoy coffee outdoor in the mornings watching the beach. The host response was good in reply to my concerns, much appreciated!! Overall great for us-

Ran out of hot water when showering. Dead giant cockroaches. One was still kicking on path to bathroom in morning. TV didn’t load, internet poor signal, so no watching anything.One fork, 3 knives in silverware. Upstairs tenant, I think permanent, no car, walks, walked and bumped around several hours when I was trying to get to sleep. No beach view but you can walk across four lane road… oh loud motor cycles you can hear too while trying to sleep. No sound barriers. No wonder 3 occupants in a 10 unit place…You’d hear all neighbors and anyone around. Never again.
Didn’t know I was sharing room with others, lol. Host says they spray after each rental.

Unfortunately, this BeachBox did not live up to expectations. The listing claims it sleeps four, but that’s simply not true. There’s no sofabed—just a lumpy three-piece couch that doesn’t function as a sleeping surface. It’s also not the one pictured in the photos. Several advertised amenities were misleading or unusable. The hairdryer was melted and had a European plug, making it completely unusable. The “desk” mentioned in the listing doesn’t exist. The air conditioning unit was visibly covered in mildew on the blades, which was concerning. WiFi? Practically nonexistent. When it did connect, it was so slow even the TV struggled to load anything despite there being an access point in the room that clearly isn’t functioning. My 2008 iPhone ran faster. Cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. Dishes were dirty, the toilet was gross at the base, the curtains were covered in mildew behind them, and the TV screen looked like it had been scraped with a rock. The bed was not a proper mattress but rather a stack of three foam toppers, and the pillows—clearly very low quality—seemed like they’d never been washed. You’re told not to strip the beds, and after seeing the condition of everything, I understand why. Pros: • A short walk to the beach • Lots of natural light • Easy parking • The room did smell clean upon arrival That said, asking guests to take out the trash feels like a lot considering what’s already lacking. Bottom line: You’re paying for proximity to the beac

This place was amazing my wife and I were on our honeymoon and this place was "Super Cute" according to my wife. I thought it was pretty dope. Ease of access to the beach literally across the street. The owners never bugged us we were very respectful to the property. We both stay from April 4th thru the 8th. Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming again in the next year.l

We paid a low price for this rental and you get what you pay for. Not the cleanest. Bed linens had an odor. Floors could have used a good scrubbing...T.V. remote has to be charged... didn't know. If one needs a place to rest or sleep, good choice.
