Great vacation spot

Hotel location is excellent. Beach, restaurants, and even a Kroger is a block away. Rooms appeared to be recently updated, paint, furniture, bathroom, etc appears almost new. Indoor pool is heated to a very comfortable level. Friendly staff. Actually planning to return in the near future for a full vacation week.

Reasonably priced, but get what pay for.

It was a reasonably priced hotel, but was older hotel. A couple of the rooms had very musty/mildew smells. My room had a patched floor and I stepped in a spot next to bed and the flooring bowed and I thought I might go through it.

I liked the free breakfast and some staff members were friendly.We actually left the hotel a day early because i was not comfortable staying any longer .The bathroom wall had paint chipping,there was some type of frosting on a hing picture in the room,the carpet was moist and the room was humid and mildew smell.

This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. We arranged to arrive late evening due to a long drive. When we got there, we were informed that “someone else” was in our room that hadn’t paid. The clerk called the guests (it was around midnight) demanded they get out immediately. When they refused, he called the local police. All this while knowing they had not been checked in properly AND the clerk had typed in the wrong room number. It was the hotel’s fault! And we waited all this time, never offered an alternative option. We had to ask if there was perhaps an equivalent room they could offer us instead of kicking that poor family out in the middle of the night? They finally checked us in to a similar room to our initial reservation. After we got settled in, we discovered tiny bugs on the nightstand. Lots of them. We took photos and after Google and AI searching, found them to be German Cockroach nymphs. Advice was to keep suitcases off the floor, wash everything in hot water and vacuum suitcases before bringing them into our home to prevent the infestation from coming home with us. We asked for another room. The boss lady at the desk in the AM said she would call us when one was ready. We waited and by afternoon we had heard nothing so we went back to the desk to find out that all the rooms were full and we were not able to move rooms. Needless to say, we booked another hotel and did not stay a second night. This cost us so much work & hassle, it was NOT WORTH IT.
