We stayed in this house in March to celebrate a big milestone birthday. Very comfortable property. The pool was a little chilly the first day we got there. By the end of our stay, the pool warmed up and so did the weather outside. Lots of stuff to do within walking distance. Six adults and four kids can easily stay here. With our group, three girls got their own big beds. Two of us slept in the bunk room. We did a couple of loads of laundry with the soap provided. Plenty of towels and beach towels were available. We spent most of our time hanging out in the kitchen or out by the pool. There’s a full dining room table and a living room area as well. This historical home has all the necessary upgrades to make well worth a visit!

Beautiful home perfect for our girls weekend trip! We loved the house and all the details are fabulous! We had so much fun walking around Galveston during the day then coming back in the evening to relax in the pool. If you are trying to decide on the perfect house look no further this is the one!

Absolute Gem!

We stayed here for two nights during a relatively cold period mid-February and the heated pool and hot tub were PERFECT!! The house was so inviting, well stocked and almost like sleeping at home! We would love to rent again in the future… if I lived closer, it would definitely be on my short list of places for a quick getaway!

Perfect location

We wanted a quiet place, not located on the seawall, with a pool, and this place was perfect! It was also within walking distance to the strand for us, so that was another plus. House was clean and organized. We could’ve used a bigger pan in the kitchen, but we had enough to make it work. All in all our group really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!!

Grand Galveston Getaway

This home has all the elegance, charm, and beauty, and also feels warm and inviting. The backyard and pool were heavenly and kept us all entertained for long hours each. This home is a delight and we hope we have the opportunity to visit again.

This house was awesome!! Located around the corner from the strand and not far from the beach. The home was very spacious and the backyard vibe is a nice little retreat. Definitely recommend if visiting the island.
