Very nice hotel in a fantastic location. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a sea view. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good and the bar had excellent service. Parking is convenient/ adjacent to the hotel but the parking garage is a tight fit for any car above a mid-size. The location is great with cafes, bars, restaurants, shops within a 5minute walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Leonardo. The location is fantastic. Buffet breakfast was great and plentiful. The restaurant was good for a meal or drink. Our room was quiet and spacious enough. The refresh of the rooms each day could have been more thorough, for example, forgetting to empty bins and not vacuuming the floors. Otherwise it was great and we would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

The Leonardo was a great place to stay, so convenient to shops, pubs, sightseeing…the only negative was an evening meal in the restaurant/bar, the food was over seasoned and over cooked-worst meal we had in Ireland. We would stay at the Leonardo again but only have the breakfast.

Location, location, location! Right off of Quay street, this puts you in the center of amazing dining and pubs. Hotel grounds are lovely and right on the water across from the Spanish Arch. Hotel bar was nice as well. Room was adequate, small inconveniences such as no smart tv, no conditioner in the shower and towels were hard to come by (only 1 large and small for both of us. We had to request extra a few times). But all in all a good stay. Would stay there for the friendly front desk staff and location again.

Great location in the Latin Quarter so it is close to shopping and pubs. Very clean and the staff were very good. Somewhat noisy in the early morning (4-5 am) as the city is cleaning the streets from the evenings activities. Recommend this location.

Excellent location for exploring Latin quarter by foot. Room was clean and comfortable. Minor quibble was that one of the two rooms I booked was not prepared in same manner. I.e one room had robes,cookies and chocolates on the bed and one didn't. We wouldn't have noticed if we didn't have two rooms

Horrible Room and Customer Service

We booked two standard room and got the only two rooms located near the kitchen at the end of a hall. (We’re guessing now that they were former storage areas.) The “view” was of abandoned equipment outside our window and we had to listen to a door slamming all night long. One room was so small two people couldn’t pass at the end of the bed! Turns out the door was in the kitchen and only required the slow-catch device be repaired (which took 2 minutes!) Our complaint in the morning was met with “we gave you a standard room” with no recognition that being able to sleep was a reasonable expectation. We were offered an upgrade for a second night, but based on the lack of concern about our first night we opted to leave instead. We did request to be comp’ed breakfast at the buffet and were granted that, which was inadequate compensation for the horrible experience and poor attitude of the manager. When asked where we could submit a complaint and request compensation, he gave us the info and said, “it’s just going to come back to me and there’s nothing more I can do for you.” Really?!? The lack of concern for our experience was astonishing.

The staff were very hospitable and made my stay enjoyable. They gave me a map and recommended me a list of the different places to visit depending on what i’d be interested in such as pubs with traditional Irish music and place open late night. My room was surprisingly on the ground floor which actually provided a nice view of the bridge and the river flowing by the Spanish arch. The room also had high ceilings, a security safe and was clean with all the toiletries needed. I recommend this hotel as it’s location is within walking distance to the train and bus depot, and you can literally step outside and be a 5 second walk from the popular Quay street with lovely buskers, great food and vibrant pubs. Thank you again to the staff at the Leonardo, you were all great and I had a wonderful time in your city.
