Total scam!!! 😡😡😡 On Hotels.com it is advertised as an hotel while it was an old motel, there was no bathroom door and the sink was outside the bathroom and in the middle of the room. The room was small and hot and the hotel itself is old, very far from the pictures on the website. It looked nothing like the pictures. They gave us amenities at the check in like in a motel, including condoms.. very disappointed. The room was very small, no space no walk or where to put the luggage. There is supposed to be free parking in front of the hotel but when we arrived there was no free space and they made us park in a parking lot near by, it was the first time to stay in a hotel without a parking lot for its customers. Also the area nearby is not good, full of old bars and drunk people at night. With the money we paid for this motel (120,000 won circa) we could have gone to a decent hotel in Gangneun.

Its a family run hotel, staff understand English and rooms spacious and quiet. European bathrooms. Air conditioning and tv. 5 minute walk to/from Gangyeon Station and to surrounding shopping/eating/bar areas. Lots of water bottles available. Enjoyed this clean, personable, non-corporate/non-stiff hotel.

Very clean, new hotel. Comfortable stay. Close to KTX station. So surprise there are two hair dryers inside room, one of which can let hair get dry quickly. There is also a fan that enables my clothing to get dry if turn on the fan overnight. Power charger line also provided. However, need to travel around 40-50 mins to go to the beach.

I visited my Korean friends and they live in near Luice Hotel so there are much conveniented stay in Gangneung for us. And I also recnmend the shop of dry fish there are next door from Luice Hotel.
