The shuttle service was very convenient to explore the historic district. The rooms were nice but the barn door entrance to the bathroom was a little noisy. The towels need an upgrading, several stained or had a hole in it. The restaurant food was pretty good but wait times and attentive service could use some work. Overall not bad for the price, but some small changes could make it a very good property.

Hotel was an average hotel. Nothing special. Only negatives were no complimentary breakfast, pillows were stiff and the water pressure was super low in the shower. Decent hotel overall.

Professionalism no longer exist

The first thing that turned me off about this hotel was the lack of professionalism. When I first reached the hotel apparently it was lunch time for the clerk that was on duty, because continued to eat smacking throughout our brief conversation that was the 1st clerk. Clerk #2 was better, but not by much and #3 the same thing lack of professionalism. I also encounter the manager, because my tub was disgusting. He told me I could make a complaint in the morning because no one was available to come up and clean the bathroom, so I asked for cleaning supplies so I could clean it myself which I did.I also tried to check out earlier to find another hotel, however I would forfeit the monies I paid for the other nights I had prepaid for room. I didn't expect a luxury hotel it was only 140per night but I expect better customer's service and clean accomodations..my only highlight of my stay was the young lady who was the bartender she was nice and showed professionalism. In fewer words I will never book their again.

Savannah weekend trip

The Kingston Inn was very clean and the staff were friendly. The bonus for us was the shuttle bus you can sign up for that is available to take you to and from downtown Savannah at Riverfront.
