Terrace Lakes Resort is an amazing get away. Prices are reasonable and the staff is wonderful. The thermal pool is very relaxing. Does not smell like sulfur and the water is very pleasant. Not too hot, but more like a relaxing bath. The golf course is beautiful. There are lots of walking/hiking trails as well. Very close to Idaho City for some fun shops and touring around. Highly suggest this quaint resort.

We stayed in cabin 10 it was clean. Some restaurant menus would’ve been helpful in the room, and the front window had a broken blind that only went down halfway so no privacy unless you drape some sort of blanket which we did. Outdoor seating off of the bar was really nice.

The property is rustic and beautiful. There is no wi fi or phone coverage at the motel or cabins, just at the main building. Parking was sparse. Staff didn’t inform us of any amenities. The mattress was really hard and the pillows were flat. I hope they reinvest some of the price back into the beds.

This is a place where you can relax, take in the peacefulness of the mountains, and enjoy down to earth people. The hot spring fed pool is very relaxing and clean. Rooms are small, but quaint and clean. If you are into luxury, probably not for you. But if you want friendly people, quiet, beautiful views, this is the place.
