LA CASA DEL TRIANGLE is a design house with garden, located on a small hill on the outskirts of the town of Garriguella, Costa Brava, next to Figueres. Enjoy a great view over the plain of the Empordà, the Pyrenees, the sea and the vineyards. The house is 200m2, plus a garden of 800 sq meters, accommodates up to 12 people, ideal to spend a few days with family, children and friends.

ACCOMMODATION

LA CASA DEL TRIANGLE is a holiday villa built in 1984 by the Architectural Tandem Carles Teixidor-Josep M. Joan. Its particular triangular shape hides unique design elements such as the triangular fireplace A-14 by Miguel Milà, FAD Design Award 1977 as well as numerous corners arranged in detail for maximum comfort.

It is a family house with two floors, bright and functional, which has a large country-side styled garden , aromatic plants and the refreshing shade of mulberries and pines. It is a few kilometers from the beaches of the north of the Costa Brava, Cap de Creus , Figueres and France.

It offers three double rooms for adults, and two for children, a large dining room, living room with fireplace, a large library, with sofa bed (two extra hosts), central heating in all rooms, a large porch and a 100% intimate terrace solarium with panoramic views.
It is an ideal place for families and groups of friends, eager for space, tranquility and walks around a natural environment, while being very close to the main tourist centers and historical and monumental places.

In its 200m2, we find rationalist spaces of warm interior design. Bathrooms style 3 different tones of traditional La Bisbal d'Empordà tiles but in a contemporary modern setting. Light floods-int he entire house even while keeping cool places in summer. The triangular plant turns its back to the tramontana, helps soften the sporadic attacks of this very own Costa Brava North wind.

THE ROOMS:

CASA DEL TRIANGLE has 5 rooms that can accommodate 10 people, plus an optional sofa bed for two people in the library, as well as a cot.
Each room responds to a different name:

The Sun: warm interior design with a retro touch, a double bed and a separate bathroom. With views and direct exit to the porch and garden.

La Vinya: minimalist, a double bed and a separate bathroom. With views and exit to the porch and garden.

La Vista: the suite on the top floor, with bathroom and independent exit to the upper panoramic terrace.

El Niu: Children's room with bunk bed.

El Cau: Children's room with two separate beds, with views and exit to the porch and garden.

LA CASA DEL TRIANGLE offers the following spaces for shared use with family or friends:

The studio: Space with a vintage record player corner, huge library and work desk. It also has a sofa bed for 2 people.

Rooftop Terrace: The terrace with the best views of the house, offers total privacy and solarium.

Dining-Living Room: Common space with table, sofa, armchairs, fireplace, views and exit to the porch and garden.

Kitchen-dining room: Cozy space with triangular table for fast meals.

The Garden: A large space of 800m2 with different environments and tables, a wooden house for the little ones, a basketball corner behind the house, a circle of shaded hammocks, sun loungers and a swing. Our trees: 3 mulberry trees, 7 large pine trees, 1 mimosa and a perimeter of cypresses.

The bathrooms
Three full bathrooms: two with bathtub and one with shower.

We will always welcome you with a selection of the country's wine in the fridge.

Montse and Judit are the two people in the town, responsible for receiving you and explaining where everything is, as well as to solve any doubt or problem that may arise. However, for any additional questions that may arise, we are also available by phone.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• The rental is for the full house.
• The prices are for complete house rental: 10-12 ppl.
• Maximum occupancy: 12 people + 1-2 babies (second optional crib available)
• Minimum rental from September to June: 2 nights
• Minimum rent July and August: 7 nights
• Animals are not permitted.
• La Casa del Triangle, is a holiday home. For family events, such as weddings, anniversaries, etc. with a capacity of more than 12 people ... a separate rental is required. You can ask us for availability and prices.
• The house is registered in the Tourist Register of the Generalitat de Catalunya number HUTG-033165-00
• For the price of the reservation and cleaning, the tourist tax must be added, € 0.90 per person / day. Charged at check-out.

The accommodation is located in Garriguella, Catalunya
Garriguella is a small town in the Alt Empordà. With its few 700 inhabitants, it is a charming and very quiet place surrounded by vineyards in the middle of the Empordà plain.

It is also just:
- 10 minutes from the AP-7 Barcelona-La Jonquera-Paris motorway
- 10 minutes from Figueres train stations and Figueres-Vilafant high-speed train.
- 10 minutes from Figueres
- 10 minutes from the beaches of the Costa Brava
- 30 minutes from Girona, Olot, Banyoles and France
- 45 minutes from Girona-Costa Brava airport
- 50 minutes from Perpinyà and its airport.
- 90 minutes from Barcelona by car or 55 minutes by train, as well as from El Prat airport.
