The balcony overlooking the river was incredible, just enough room to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. We saw a black bear drinking from the river below.

This hotel is the last on the strip, getting in/out was a nightmare, thats par for gatlinburg but theres nothing close to eat, you must walk a good distance to eat/shop. There breakfast closed at 930, thats an hr earlier than any hotel i stayed at...if these dont bother you this is the hotel for you. The creek behind the hotel was the only bright spot
