Travelled with family

This was an average hotel and is good for the price. We stayed as a family of 3 ( 2 adults, 1 8 year old) and it was difficult changing privately because of the room layout. Typically in hotels we are able to just go to the bathroom but that room was only big enough for the toilet and tub. There is a little open room where the sink is, but on the backside is the balcony windows ( curtains do close) and then a mirror on bar space that shows a full view of whatever you are doing in the area from one of the beds. We just had to announce we were changing for a little privacy. There is also little storage in the rooms ( 2 smalls drawers and a closet) so we couldn’t put away all of our clothes for the week we were staying.
The breakfast was standard continental breakfast food.
We planned to use the pool more often but it was very hot and humid in the glass enclosed room. A good 20 degrees warmer than outside so I couldn’t imagine how that would be during the summer. They also didn’t have any towels when we went, but I called the front desk and they brought some quickly.
The traffic is very loud at night, several emergency vehicles went throughout the night, and the river is also noisy. Nothing the hotel could help but it is something to think about if you need quiet to sleep.
The staff that we encountered were kind and professional. Overall, the stay was average at best but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the distance to town. It’s a 15-30 min walk to go anywhere.
