Beautiful mountain cabin located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This cabin premium unit has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, washer, dryer, living room, 1 bedroom, 1 half bathroom and 1 full bathroom, fire place, balcony overlooking scenic views and a jetted tub . See floor plan in pictures. This cabin unit is located at Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort which is an excellent 5 star resort. A few of the amenities offered at the resort are a small grocery store with Starbucks, Southern Comfort restaurant, pool side snack/bars, 4 free passes for the Wild Bear waterpark for the duration of your stay(over a $150 value), infinity heated pool, miniature golf, outdoor playground, game room, work out facility and a spa. Also daily activities for children. It is a fantastic facility for families! Cabins have access to elevators and paved free parking area. Fire pits with Adirondack chairs located through out the resort with spectacular views. Shuttle services provided throughout the resort and a pick up stop for the Gatlinburg Trolley is located at the entrance of the resort. The resort also offers EV charging stations.

Beautiful resort, but definitely some cons

Check in process was a hot mess. Our check in/out dates were incorrect, so the staff were not expecting us and our cabin was not ready. The staff also had major technical difficulties and not many staff, so I waited in like for 30 minutes just to be told our room wasn’t ready and to come back in an hour to get room keys. VRBO listing was also for a 2 king bed cabin. We ended up with 1 king bed and 2 queen. Not a huge deal, but inaccurate listing. Cabins are very spread out and with kids, there was no way we would have been able to walk to the waterpark, mini golf, or even the lobby. We had to drive everywhere even on the property itself. Location-wise, it is not as close to Gatlinburg as I initially thought. We had to drive everywhere we wanted to go unless we wanted to wait for shuttles or trolleys. Overall, beautiful property and well maintained. Staff were all very pleasant and they have daily activities for kids/families which the kids enjoyed. However, I would choose a resort next time that is closer to town and easier to navigate by foot.
