Nice Space but Needs Improvements in Comfort and Cleanliness
We appreciated the location and the space the unit offered, but unfortunately, our experience was impacted by a few key issues that should be addressed.1. Temperature Control in Master Bedroom: The master bedroom remained uncomfortably warm throughout our stay. Although the hosts thoughtfully provided a fan, the A/C vent in the room is located behind the door and very small. It did not adequately cool the space. Even with the thermostat set to 67F in the living room, the bedroom temperature stayed between 75–80F, which made sleeping difficult.2. Odor Upon Arrival: When we first arrived, there was a strong sewage smell in the master bathroom and closet area. Thankfully, the smell dissipated after some time, but it was an unpleasant way to begin our stay.3. Cleanliness Concerns: The overall cleanliness of the unit fell below our expectations. When we shortened the table leaves, we found crumbs coating the sides. The pull-out couch mattress had visible stains and crumbs, making it feel unsanitary. We also noticed dirt and debris under furniture like beds, couches, and chairs—areas that should be clean and guest-ready.With some attention to cleanliness and improved ventilation in the master bedroom, this property could be much more comfortable for future guests.
