Welcome to Grey Wind Lodge, your Gatlinburg family retreat with breathtaking views and three resort pools! We're located near your favorite attractions like Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Anakeesta! Grey Wind is perched atop the beautiful Cobbly Nob neighborhood, bordering The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Come enjoy the warm and welcoming home we made for your family.

The cabin is exclusively yours without interruption for the duration of your stay so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.

You'll drive right up to Grey Wind Lodge. Keyless entry with door code is provided in your Check-in Instructions. Let us know if you have questions!

In addition to mentioned amenities, our home is also equipped with:

• Municipal water, not well water

Check-in Time is 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM (please contact us if you need to check in after 11:00 PM ET). Check-out Time is 10:00 AM.

All persons must be 25+ unless accompanied by an adult. While children are always welcome, Grey Wind Lodge is not toddler/baby-proof and children must be supervised at all times. Pet fee applies if bringing dogs (up to 2) and must be added to your reservation at time of booking. Undisclosed pets will incur a $500 charge. 

The cabin is tucked away and private! You will have the entire place to yourself.

Other Details
Remember, we're in the woods. You will certainly see critters and maybe even some bears! Always be aware of your surroundings. Never approach wildlife.

The cabin is in the mountains. Even though Cobbly Nob has among the best maintained and easiest roads to navigate, the roads are indeed winding and hilly. Please purchase travel insurance as we cannot guarantee the cabin will be accessible during or after a weather event. Refunds are not available due to inclement weather or impassable roads.

The driveway is paved and uphill, but not too steep. Parking Area is paved and flat. Please keep vehicles on paved surfaces. A maximum of three vehicles are permitted on the property without prior approval.

IMPORTANT VEHICLE NOTE: Please keep your vehicles locked at all times. Bears can and will enter vehicles in search of food. Bears can become trapped in the vehicle, which is extremely dangerous for them. Please help our bear populations and lock your vehicle at all times. Grey Wind Lodge, its owners, or staff are not responsible for any damage to vehicles that may occur on the property.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was exactly what we were hoping for, it was clean, well taken care of, beautiful inside with everything we needed for our week there. The views from the front porch are stunning! Check in and out were very easy and the host is fantastic and responds to questions quickly. We would definitely plan to stay here again next year!

This cabin exceeded all of our expectations. I am notorious for being easily grossed out by rental/vacation homes and find it hard to be comfortable in most of them - but this one was hands down THE BEST one I have been to in a very long time. Extremely clean, beds were so comfy, the location and the views were absolutely beautiful! My husband and I had 3 kids and both of our dogs with us and we all had the best time.

The cabin was as pictured and clean. It is located up a VERY windy steep road. The hot tub wouldn’t heat over 95 degrees but was clean. There were a few things that needed to be fixed but Brad was responsive about getting them fixed. It looks like the mailbox was hit and leans over, so it’s easy to miss the driveway. Follow the directions provided so you don’t miss it.

We really enjoyed our stay overall, but there are a few areas that could be improved for future guests. The biggest issue was the limited supplies provided for a week-long stay with a family of five. There was only one roll of toilet paper, one dish towel, and no washcloths available. It would be helpful to have additional essentials stocked, such as extra toilet paper, dish towels, washcloths, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and possibly extra trash bags.For longer stays especially, having a better supply of basic amenities would make the experience much more comfortable and convenient. With a bit more attention to stocking these everyday necessities, the stay would have been excellent.

Our host was amazing and very easy to deal with. The cabin was a fantastic location and had a very good floor plan. Having a real wood-burning fireplace was a huge plus I would highly recommend this host and his property for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Gatlinburg.

Jan 29-Feb 2, 2026: Beautiful cabin and views. Very responsive host. We were snowed in for 3 days of our stay, but we had plenty of food to eat and wood for the fireplace. The snow made the stay extra special. Would love to stay at Grey Wind Lodge again!

Host great about responding! Only issue was the key code definitely did not work after first time!! We could lock door but getting in was a definite no. We put in code which definitely was correct but got the red lock light everytime! Very frustrating. Other than that cabin was great and letting our 3 doggies stay with us was awesome! Would definitely stay again for sure !

The cabin was nice, the view of the mountains was beautiful when the sunset. Not to far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but still had the privacy of not being in a tight neighborhood. The listing don’t tell elevation but if your going in the winter months it is up the mountains it was nice and dry in Gatlinburg but ice and snow at the cabin. It was a beautiful view though. Definitely would stay here again.

The house was beautifully finished. Fairly easy drive up. House was equipped with necessities and more which made cooking and functioning very easy going. House was very clean when we arrived which is usually not the case in past experiences. Rooms were big and spacious. Having access to a pool was great considering we were traveling with kids. I would definitely recommend this house to family and friends and would book again. P.s. the view if the smokies from the front porch is beautiful! And we ended up having bear visitors daily so keep an eye out for that!
