The Rancher is a comfortable, convenient and cozy cabin. Its amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with 5 ft. trestle table in the dining area, washer & dryer, central heat & air, wood burning fireplace, two bedrooms, 1 bath, jacuzzi in one of the bedrooms, covered porch w/swing and rocker, covered carport and Weber charcoal grill. There is also a TV (w/cable hookup) and a DVD player. There is a patio area outside the French doors. There is a panoramic mountain view all around the cabin. The yard surrounding the cabin is great for children to safely run and play. Our Rancher is a non-smoking cabin.

The Rancher Cabin is very comfortable, homey, and inviting. While sitting on the porch, enjoying the evening breeze and the night sounds you hear the owl quietly "hooting" and somewhere off in the distance other animals saying good night to friends in other pastures or farms, ranches.To wake up in the morning and hearing the birds singing, chirping, whistling, and talking to one another. The sun rising with its first rays hitting the treetops, then shining through the branches, and on the grass, meadow and homes. So awesome.We didn't want to leave, and we hope to be able to return soon. The owner was so kind, checking in on us to make sure we had all we needed and that everything was O.K. She is the best.

Our family came down and stayed for a few days for Fall Break. The cabin was clean and cozy! Very easy to locate and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the porch swing and the fire pit to make s’mores! The location was perfect! The town has restaurants and shops. It was nice to be away from the busy tourist areas, but was very easy to get to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg! Melody was very sweet and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Clean, quiet, peaceful, and beautiful view. Most gracious VRBO host ever. Easy directions and access to the home. Fantastic water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Morning coffee on the porch was wonderful. Close enough to town for shopping but far enough away to be out of the hustle/bustle of the Ballon Fest and then the Jeep Fest the following weekend. This will definitely be the rental we choose for return trips to Townsend. It was a great much needed relaxing vacation.

The stay was great. Great little old house in a quite area. Good views. Only issue i had is the water heater does not supply enough hot water to fill the jetted tub. That was my only disappointment with this house. Would recommend this place to stay

The Ranch was nice. It was exactly as advertised. Perfect for small family that needs basic accommodations (ie- no wi-fi ,no dishwasher, mostly basic amenities, etc). My only real complaint is that the hot tub/spa tub is a garden tub in the large bedroom. It took about an hour to get the water up to the jet level, and by that time, the water was lukewarm. Melody was very nice, and very responsive.

This is an amazing place. It is nestled in the country with beautiful views. The moon rose behind the mountains and it was so cool. VERY clean. I check below the surface. A wet paper towel rubbed across the kitchen floor remained clean!! The beds were very comfortable, and all was tastefully decorated.
