This hotel was simply perfect, location is great, very close to most things in Antep. Service was beyond great, breakfast spread was very good, tea access all day, open shaded area to relax when needed. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Antep for sure.

For us this was the best hotel in Eastern Turkey. A beautiful converted building, a fantastic courtyard, lavish breakfast and the friendliest staff imaginable. Fully recommended!

I simply loved everything at this hotel. The staff were incredibly amazing. The breakfast was beyond delicious. The design and architecture of the building made me feel that I went back 100 years ago. Highly recommend this place.

Comfortable, friendly and great service

Really enjoyed the hotel and found the room to be very clean as well as a traditional Turkish atmosphere. Breakfast was good and Cennet was so helpful and kind. The hotel had a wonderful outdoor patio as well as all you can drink water bottles and hot tea. Parking was available and the hotel was a great location to the castle as well as other sites.

The prooerty was located in graet place to access all gurme restaurants and eateries. You may walk to the most of the great Antep food places. They have a great foyer area with water fountains. Tea and coffees are included to the room price. Breakfast was great Turkish breakfast way, preserves and jams were homemade, pastries were prepared fresh from scratch every morning. They also have a descent cheese and olive selection. The closed entry door and door bell access felt strange at the beginning but after a while it started to give you are entring in to a family home feeling. Choose this place you will be in good hands. They give you a simple map of the area at check in with hand marked nice places and they will go out of way to help you and answer your questions and inquiries. Nice place to be.

The family and staff who manage Ali Bey Konagi are most hospitable, lovely people whose only wish is to make your stay a most comfortable and memorable experience. Many things to enjoy: everthing is clean and fresh, the breakfast is an amazing spread of jams, cheeses, olives, breads, the trees and birds in the courtyard, in fact the enclosure offers a calm and cool respite from the bustling markets outside. Perfect location as well. We highly recommend Ali Bey Konagi!

We throughly enjoyed our stay and should have extended for one more night to see more of the city. Staff was the friendliest, most helpful you can imagine, anticipating every need. Book the upstairs rooms if you can. It is worth the difference for the authentic "konak" experience. Lovely location right below the castle, and walkable to the markets but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Felt like a hidden gem! Will definitely go back.

It is important to book a room at this hotel in its main building, which encompasses a delightful courtyard, and not in the annex. They placed our first night erroneously in the annex but apologized and moved our second night to the main building. Overall the staff were all helpful and courteous. But it was Jenat (or Janet) (whose name means heaven) who made our stay quite heavenly. It was she who prepared and served our exceptional breakfast each morning there.

The most amazing staff ever!!

We stayed here for 1 night as a last minute change occured in our travel plans. The staff were the friendliest and the most attentive people ever! Our room was pristine! Loved the spacious and airy interiors. Breakfast was also delicious and was prepared by the very smily Cennet Teyze ❤️ I wish we got to stay here for longer as it was a last minute find for us, but will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Gaziantep. Thank you to the whole team at Ali Bey Konak ☺️

Otantik ortamda herşeyi ile kaliteli bir hizmet aldık. Çalışanların hepsi çok ilgili, yardımcı ve güleryüzlü idiler. Kahvaltı çok güzeldi. Otelin konumu birçok ziyaret edilecek yerlere yakındı. Ancak otelde Gaziantep ile ilgili güncel turistik bilgiler ve harita içeren bir broşür yoktu. Otel tarafından renksiz, yazıları, şekilleri okunamayan bir fotokopi kağıdı verildi. Daha güzel renkli bir broşür verilse çok daha şık olurdu.

Arkadaşlarımızla iki ayrı oda tutmuştuk. Konaklamamız oldukça rahattı, gün içerisinde her yere yürüyecek gittik. Merkezi bir yerde. Eski bir konak olmasından kaynaklı ufak tefek eksiklikler tabii ki var ancak yaşamınızı etkilemiyor. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederiz.

Konum: Çok merkezi. Gezmek görmek isteyeceğiniz birçok yere yürüme mesafesinde Otopark: Oldukça sıkışık bir alanı var ama personel park için yardımcı oluyor. Yakın bölgedeki alternatif park yerlerini araştırmanızı öneririm. Personel: Görebileceğiniz en güler yüzlü, samimi ve sıcak kanlı çalışanlara sahipler. Kahvaltı: Bence çok çeşitli ve yeterli bir kahvaltı. Ayrıca tüm gün boyunca çay, kahve ve su ikramı var. Ortak alan/avlu: Vakit geçirmesi çok keyifliydi. Oda: Hayal kırıklığı. Konağın bir büyük bir de küçük avlusu var. Odalardan 4 tanesi bu avluların katında. Pencere kapı açarsanız doğrudan odanın içi görünüyor. Biz küçük avluya bakan Rukiye Hanım isimli odada konakladık. Banyoda çok ama çok ciddi bir koku problemi vardı. 3 gün boyunca bırakın banyo kapısını açmayı elimi yıkamak için banyoya bile giremedim. Ayrıca pencerenin hemen önündeki gider kapağından da lağım kokusu geliyordu. 3 gün boyunca kapı ve 2 pencere açık olmasına rağmen (içerinin görünmesine aldırmadan) kokudan kurtulamadık. Klima vardı ama kumandası olmadığı için kullanamadık. Odada bir tane mini boy buz dolabı var. Fakat çok ses çıkarttığı için kullanmadık. Yatak başlarında priz, komodin ve abajur yoktu. Biz buzdolabını kullanmadığımı için o prizde telefonları şarj ettik. Odada iki yetişkin ve bir çocuk ile konakladık. Toplamda 2 büyük havlu, bir el havlusu ve bir de ayak havlusu verildi. Konakladığımız süre boyunca oda temizliği veya havlu değişimi olmadı. Belki bu hizmet vardı ama bilgi verilmedi.

Konağın kapısı dışarıya kapalı, kapıyı çalınca görevliler açıyor. Bu da çok güvenli hissettiriyor. Kalenin dibinde ama gürültüden uzak. Çarşı ve yemek mekanları yürüyüş mesafesinde. Kahvaltı çok lezzetli, gün boyu ücretsiz çay ikramı var. Kahvaltıda nefis katmer ve Cennet hanımın şirin misafirperverligi var.
