The Inn was so close to everything we wanted to do. Dining, shopping, and other attractions. It was quiet, clean, and updated. We had a balcony which was so nice to sit on in the evening and relax. The front desk guy is awesome. He is super friendly and has a great sense of humor. He will help you with anything you need. The only thing I recommend is that if you have neck or shoulder problems, bring your own pillows. Their pillows were nice, but I wish I would have had my own. I do have shoulder issues and it would have been better with my own pillows. The bed was soft and comfortable also. I highly recommend this Inn and would definitely stay here again. If you do stay here, you must eat at Cottage Creperie. It is almost directly across the street from the Inn. I have nothing but good things to say about this place! 5 stars from me! .

Good hotel - but don't book through 3rd party
The hotel was nice. I was expecting a bigger room based on what the hotels.com description and photos showed me. Based on the photos at the time of booking, I was expecting a suite, but that was not the case. It was a smaller two bed room, it was clean and comfortable, just not what I was expecting. I brought it up to the staff, but the owners said they could not do anything about it since I booked through the third party and ended up paying over 100 per night more. I should have cancelled and rebooked when I got there, but one of the employees said they should be able to adjust the rate. They did not, I have learned my lesson - don't book through the 3rd party, and go direct. This was a nice location close to many of the activities, just don't go in expecting a B&B type experience. The simple american breakfast is merely the fresh eggs, warmed up sausage and the hotel waffle maker. Yes, it was food and it was fresh. The whole experience is more just like staying at a regular chain hotel. I will be back to the area, but I will be more careful about my choices of where I stay and how I book.

Great location but needs lots of upgrading.
Our stay was good. Visiting the national park was wonderful and everyone should go there. This motel is very old and needs some modernizing. Our room was clean but they do not clean or change out towels or sheets until you leave. We were there 4 nights. The nice lady who did the morning breakfast was a high light. The internet was very poor as was TV reception. Great location, walked to most places like national cementary and the battle field. Downtown was close too but it is not that great. One other thing was that even though it is a no smoking motel there are still lots of smoking going on and the smoke was always around. Some even smoking outside their rooms in stead of going to the smoking area. Employees were smoking right at the entrance. Very annoying.

The Staff was wonderful! Charlie, Eileen and Tina were very nice. Breakfast was great, our room was clean and we could bring our dog. The entire town is dog friendly too. Lots of places to eat, shop and enjoy. I will definitely be back!
