The room, although clearly beautiful once, was VERY tired and in need of basic maintenance. The thatched roof had visible holes, some floor planks were visibly rotting and crumbled underfoot (perhaps due to water damage from inadequate roof?) All painted surfaces were badly in need of attention. There were disgusting ‘marks’ on the tiles in the shower and I would not use bare-footed. Also found a rotted potato in my bedside table. No fridge (the only room without one in our one-month five-island adventure in Indonesia) and limited amenities. Two shower towels (white) and two beach towels (striped) every day - this was messed up EVERY day. It’s not hard. The pool are was not what was expected; clever photography makes it appear much nicer than it is.

We didn’t get to even check in because there was no room available and they said they didn’t have a partnership with expedia. We were on an island with no ability to leave and literally everything was booked for New Year’s Eve when we got there. It was a mess. We had to take horse taxis all over until we finally found a place with availability and missed our whole day there.

Lovely hotel, 2 minutes from the beach!

Our stay was excellent! The rooms were made beautifully and were very clean. The towels and toiletries were replaced daily along with our beds being made. The swimming pool isn't massive but it is perfect for a chill little swim and sunbathe since the beach is literally two minutes walk away. The staff were more than friendly, helpful, polite and professional. They organised private boat trips for us and provided bikes for a small charge. They gave us suggestions of where to go on the island. Overall, we loved our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Lugar ideal aunque la atención es mejorable

El sitio es ideal. Queda en el centro de la isla y cerca de todo. Las cabañas están bien y son muy cómodas. Aunque el servicio es muy agradable, hay que estar encima de ellos para que no se olviden de limpiarte la habitación. El desayuno es un poco escaso comparado con otros sitios.
