Old farmhouse completely restored in Girac in the LOT. Pleasant, comfortable and relaxing, the cottage is located in a calm and quiet environment, dovecote and Quercy roof, terrace with a view of the banks of the Dordogne, large wooded and enclosed grounds. Free wifi (fibre) access. Classified as a 3* furnished tourist accommodation since 2012. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price, towels in addition (5€ per person)
Located in the Dordogne valley, you will benefit from a wide range of excursions in the surrounding area: Castelnau-Bretenoux castle, the most beautiful villages in France (Loubressac, Autoire, Carennac...), Padirac chasm, caves of Presque, Rocamadour, Sarlat, Collonges la rouge, Turenne, Beaulieu sur Dordogne, Aubazine, Brive la gaillarde. And for the sporty, canoe descent on the Dordogne, golf course next to the castle of Montal, tennis courts in Bretenoux, fishing trails... not to mention the regional markets and our gastronomy!! The accommodation is not adapted to PRM standards.

Beautiful stay on the Dordogne River

A lovely, peaceful stay in the countryside. The century old home is well appointed and spacious. Although we were not able to access the river from the property we had 3 beautiful days paddling in the Dordogne, hiking and visiting beautiful villages nearby.

Wir haben erholsame Tage in einem liebvoll und charmant eingerichtetem Haus, in dem es an nichts fehlte verbracht. Dank des herrlichen Wetters haben wir viel Zeit draußen verbracht, sei es im Garten mit Blick auf die Dordogne, sei es in der Umgebung. Es bestand ein herzlicher unkomplizierter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin, die uns gute Tipps zu den Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gegeben hatte.
