Wine-tastic

Met in car on arrival, shown where to park and room. Lovely hotel, wine tour was good, wine tasting was excellent and our expert was very good at describing the wines, brandy and cha cha. Cooking workshops were good fun and you are what you made! Food in restaurant was really nice. Breakfast was nice, but the weakest link of the whole stay. Not replenished and when you could find the server, brought Luke warm coffee.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel, where the rooms were just as stunning. The culinary experience was a definite highlight; we enjoyed a cracking menu at both lunch and dinner, complemented by a nice breakfast that offered a great mix of buffet and made-to-order options. The wine tasting was a real pleasure, featuring a delightful selection of pre-selected local wines. This was perfectly paired with an incredibly interesting tour that delved into the rich history of winemaking in Georgia, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. While we felt the tour was a tiny bit rushed, leaving us wishing for more detail, the silver lining was it meant we got to the wine tasting quicker! Overall, a truly memorable and highly recommended experience.

Service at the Terrace Restaurant was amazing, the gentleman in the evening was excellent, he made great recommendations and took good care of us. The food has always been good here but the continue getting better. The winemaker/sommelier Giorgi is very charismatic and always welcomes us back in a warm manner, thank you. On room for improvement i would recommend to fix/adjust the in-room toilets flush, as water goes for way too long wasting water. As you have many foreigners coming to your place put written recommendations for the sauces as some may miss to experience the right mix of flavours, for example Tkemali with Mtsvadi or with the potatoes. Also as soon as we arrive and we were getting of our car a very unfriendly guy approached us out of nowhere, i think he was security from the main gate asking us... "gismet?" Which i believe he meant "yes? I am listening"... we told him it was not our first time and he started to wave his arms around in a very impatient manner and the ask again what we were there for. Very unpleasent and rude! He should be trained on his verbiage to rather welcome people with a smile rather than making us feel unwelcome. We love this place and we will come back, this feedback is meant for improvement of this very lovely place we enjoy very much.

Lovely place - the grouds, room and facilities were amazing and the wine tour with the tasting top class. Especially Keta with her knowledge and humour made the experience very special and memorable. We trully really enjoyed our stay. One thing that fell short was the speed of service and the attitude at times was poor, both at the restaurant and durning the breakfast. Everyone waited a long time for breakfast, think needs additional staff to make it run smoother in morning. At dinner we had an issue with our bottle of wine we'd got as part of our stay too. Though our host on arrival eventually sorted this for us. Waiter at the restaurant could have been more accommodating. Was a good stay though and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful property in a very nice setting. We had dinner at the restaurant and both the food and wine were excellent. The breakfast was fantastic and everyone in the resort was nice and hospitable. The room was nice, clean, spacious and had everything you need for a relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfekter Kurzurlaub

Definitiv das schönste Hotel, in dem wir auf unserer Georgien-Reise übernachten durften. Sowohl Abendessen als auch Frühstück waren super lecker und reichhaltig. Und der Wein war auch sehr fein! Ich kann die Degustation sehr empfehlen, wir hatten viel Spaß!
