I checked in online on wotif after the office closed I paid online. Called the phone number provided 6 times and never received a call back. I booked at 7:15 at night. So had to book somewhere else.

Reception staff greeted me in bare feet during check in. The family room smelt musty, was dusty & dirty, linen on the beds had stains on them and were dirty. Main bathroom glass shower screen was removed and a plastic shower curtain was used to replace the screen. The shower curtain barely stayed in place and continually fell down whilst trying to shower. Glass shower screen was stored in a nearby cupboard.

Nice place and friendly staff , however when we arrived linen on both pullout beds were dirty, room very dusty the lounge was that dusty it triggered my sons Allergies, pullout beds were extremely uncomfortable the mattress is that thin i slept on springs, Had to unzip the King size bed upstairs and share with my sister to get some sleep, also found a random sock behind the bed, and lots of dust under the bed, will stay elsewhere next time

The property is well maintained and clean. External light fixtures could benefit from a good cleaning. Like a lot of the accommodation in Gladstone this property needs some investment in maintenance. It is a shame that the restaurant has closed as this was a feature some time ago and provided a welcome alternative to pub meals that could be offered to the wider community. Will be staying her again
