Very terrifying in a Friday night.

The room was lovely. We stayed two nights and on the Friday night the hotel bar felt very unsafe when we returned after our event, with a large group of men who were very drunk, very ‘starey’, on the verge of violence and intimidating plus an elderly man who was very, very drunk just wandering around. The staff seemed to have lost control and there was no visible security in the hotel. We mentioned this the next day at check out, given a little bit of a brush off, and were told security was present-although if they were thenthey were not visible and not addressing the issue. We felt very unsafe and left the bar quickly. The Moxy is not a budget hotel and guest safety should be paramount. The bar was being managed as a city centre pub instead of ensuring guests were safe.

A change from our usual accommodation. Very casual. Room clean, good shower, helpful lighting during night. Comfy bed and pillows.tea making difficult due to lack of a surface and electric point. The major downside is the menu for dinner, and minimal choice at buffet breakfast.

Highly recommend, cannot fault! Great friendly service, great layout, well contained has everything you need, beds are comfy, great shower, bedrooms are quiet and very clean, aircon worked, whole Hotel is clean and well presented/maintained, great location for getting around Glasgow and events, cooked breakfast was lovely, well stocked bar. Room was small, but had everything needed. Couldn’t open window, and It was warm, so would have liked to have been able to open window. Lovely friendly staff and lovely reception area. Enjoyed the fuse ball and the pool table. Great central location

PERFECT STAY👌

2nd overnight stay at the Moxy for a gig at the hydro and have already booked another one for December, love it here, very friendly ‘crew’ quirky, stylish lobby/bar area, comfortable bed, clean rooms and competitive price, fantastic choice for breakfast too!!! definitely worth giving a go 👌👌👌
