A lovely place to stay. The restaurant made a large error while we were there. My girlfriend has a nut allergy and we were served pesto that had nuts in it when we asked multiple times to be sure it was okay. It was not and she got terribly sick and ruined our evening.

The hotel is on beautiful grounds and the history is amazing. Unfortunately, there is no central air conditioning, which made it a bit hot in the summer. The room had a window unit. The staff was lovely and the location was fantastic.

Love the historic value of the hotel and even knowing historic buildings are hard to upgrade; you missed in several areas. Rooms over priced for how they look, bathroom floor not that clean, window shaker AC is cheap and cycle on and off all night.

Love this hotel. Have been coming here for 30 odd years. The only complaint, now that they have renovated the rooms,is that the pillows are as hard as rocks. Very sore on my neck.I am a small person....and the hotel needs to provide 2 thicknesses of pillows, which is standard practice in good hotels.

I have always wanted to stay at this hotel and finally got the chance! We were very happy with our stay. The building is very historic with lots to see as you walk through the halls. The room was very clean and well maintained. The only down side is that the bathroom was very small. No counter space to get ready, but there was an area in the room that worked for that. The location is perfect! A short walking distance to downtown with great choices for eating and drinking. We did enjoy a few drinks at the hotel bar/restaurant. We didn't eat there but the food that we saw come out looked amazing. We willl definitely give the food a try when we come back.

Historical, grand Hotel Colorado

The Hotel Colorado is a beautiful and historic place to stay. It is easy to walk downtown from there, to shop, eat etc. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar if you don’t want to leave. There are nice robes for after shower, and the towels are luxurious. It was a wonderful stay.

Terrible customer service. Did not get our room serviced Saturday. Left all say yo return at 6pm to no clean towels, trash full, no coffee for Sun am, unmade beds, etc. Weee never told we would not get service especially for the $$$$ we paid. The desk clerk was unapologetic and frankly rude about it. The upstairs guests were stomping and banging Friday pm and Saturday am, until I had to call the front desk to request they ask them to stop. There is zero guest consideration here. Stay elsewhere!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Rooms were hot, underdecorated and we had poor housekeeping. Our jr suite had a small desk and 4 mismatched chairs with a harsh overhead light, no mini fridge. There was 1 ice machine very far away.
