This architectural award winning luxury town-home offers a true ski-in, ski-out access and privacy. Completely equipped including, private state of the art outdoor hot tub, wireless internet, 3 decks, fireplace, BBQ, soaker tub/shower. Attached single heated garage. Bedding is top notch. Walk to 4 restaurants, general store and 2 pubs or just 10 minutes away from a world class golf course and biking and hiking trails. Lots of fishing and picnic areas.

Complete Professionally cleaned each stay.

Suited to a family or mature adults . (this is our second home). The neighborhood incorporates families who live and work year round thus the consideration for general peace and quiet.

We may be able to accommodate same day last minute bookings if coordinated. We may accept single nights during the week (Mon - Thurs) if coordinated. (call ) .

Any stays that fall during a long weekend must be minimum of 3 nights.
Security or Damage Deposit

A refundable security/damage deposit of 750 CAD is due on arrival.
Credit Card is accepted for credit card damage deposit "hold"

Crystal lake is a 10 minute drive/taxi from the property. The sand and rocks beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. There is a public boat launch ramp.

Ski/Board Out is directly to a downhill run from the property. Ski/Board In is a 2 minute walk to the property.
This is a true ski-in ski-out direct to door collection of 18 town homes. You can ski directly downhill (1 minute) on a path that leads to Gondola. There is no walking necessary until spring skiing break up.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Just group all white towels separately from colored as they could have chlorine from hot tub.
Ski hill is always short on house keeping staff, if guests can empty bottles etc. in blue bin in garage try and leave kitchen sink with out dishes and empty garbage in bin across from townhouse.
Most important to double check outside doors that they are absolutely secure and locked as there are accounts of doors blowing open and freezing out townhouse and pipes. (Serious damage)..
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

You must adhere to serenity and peaceful enjoyment of the hot tum. NO un supervised children (under 14) allowed in hot tub with out a Parent or Adult
Strict adherence to 2 vehicles, There is no room for more then 2 vehicles, UNLESS the extra vehicle parks off site which is still very close to home
All guests to be registered and paid ahead (max 7). If home left in mess as in garbage around, kitchen a mess, floor etc. (extra $250) cleaning charge

Overall great stay here. Good location. Lots of towels and other amenities provided, well stocked kitchen so we could make breakfast every day. Hot tub and fireplace were great. Even though some of the neighbours were mound outside, the inside was nice and quiet. Probably a slight negative is there were too many detailed instructions, and felt we had to do a bit much for checkout considering we paid a cleaning fee. But overall I would recommend this place.

Family trip from Michigan

We had a great trip to the Banff/Golden Area. The condo fit our family perfectly. Having the hot tub at the end of the day to relax in was a huge hit as well. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Even though we had to do a little more driving, the accommodations made it worth while. It took some planning, but we were able to leave in the morning and be gone most of the day to see and hike many sights. Way more affordable here than staying in Banff area with a family of 6 young adults. You do get your exercise going up and down the stairs, but main floor master was perfect for parents and we made the kids do the climbing. We would go back.

Incredible views and beautiful home!

The home was gorgeous and very comfortable. The views from the hot tub deck were incredibly beautiful and the view from the master bedroom of the ski slopes was also wonderful. We could easily walk to the Pioneer chair each morning and skied back every afternoon. We had everything we needed. The communication was very prompt and kind.

Fantastic ski weekend!

Some friends and I rented Bear’s property for a low-key ski weekend. The process was simple and we really enjoyed our stay. Easy to get on/off the hill and we were able to put together some great meals after a post ski hot tub.

Great place, real ski in ski out. It was not so clear that the name of the property "selkirk 17" also refered to the door number. When we arrived at the adress and realised that there were multiple cottage with the same adress we had to look a bit before checking in. The internet was really bad, almost impossible to use...

Friends kids were getting married at the top of the mountain. This was a convenient location and layout and the owners were easy to deal with. Overall the unit was very nicely appointed. The only reason I gave it four stars was the master bathroom shower head needed some work. I'm sure it will be taken care of. Would recommend it

Convenient location for skiing

5 adults stayed here for a skiing trip. It is a short walk to ski. The hot tub was very nice after a day of skiing. The kitchen is small if you like to cook. It would have been nice if there was a TV to watch movies in the evening or catch a hockey game. There is really nothing to do after the ski resort closes down in the afternoon.

Family ski weekend

We had a fantastic stay! The location was excellent. It was a very short ski to the gondola. The condo was perfect for us. There was plenty of room for our family of four. Nice condo

The condo was nice and clean, nice furnishings, and communication with the host was excellent. The location was central to both Yoho and Glacier parks. This would be a great condo for a family… for two couples, not as ideal as second and third bedrooms were very small. We also weren’t aware that the restaurant and gondola were shut down mid October. But would recommend for other times of the year!

Excellent location near gondola. Clean, spacious, luxury accommodation. 2 balconies and a huge patio. Partial view of mountain. Highly recommend it for 4 or 6 people.

Home had everything we needed, just bring food and drinks. Adding a Hot tub can sometimes be a hit or miss in terms of cleanliness but we can safely say this one is well taken care of and clean! Also garage fits a full-size pickup truck for those who were wondering:)

Nice clean townhome at Kicking Horse

Ideally located ski in/out townhome at KHMR. 3 bedrooms (master on main level with ensuite bathroom, a 2 x twin bedroom on walk-in level and a twin above a queen bunk on the lower level). The 2 x twin and twin above queen share the same bathroom on the walk-in level. Good appliances and plenty of kitchen pots, pans, cutlery, glasses. Ski down to the resort from nearly outside the front door and ski back along the edge of the parking lot (taking skis off to cross 2 roads). Hot tub on main level deck. Nice & quiet.

Great Winter Stay

We stayed for a short ski vacation. Great place - nicely decorated, clean and close to slopes. Hot tub was a great way to end the day. Would definitely stay there again for my next visit to Kicking Horse.
