Pleasant experience

We enjoyed our stay here and have no complaints. The host was great and we enjoyed Appenzell and the surrounding area. Only two minutes to town and 15 minutes to the Ebenalp. Views are great too! Thanks for a wonderful time.

FABULOUS! PEACEFUL! BEAUTIFUL-GREAT ACCESS

A Beautiful Bitzi in Appenzell! You have to rent & enjoy this very very nice, spacious, fun and well cared for home! Susanne and Beat are amazing hosts. Plus we love the special care Grandma provides to the home. It is very quiet, an easy 10 minute walk to beautiful Appenzell. This was one of our stops during our 30 day anniversary driving trip around France, Italy and Switzerland. The bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen very well stocked & we enjoyed cooking & dinning in. The Sauna is a great treat & so is the hammock-I enjoyed napping in it. The views & serenity of the area is fantastic. We explored Appenzell, hiked around Ebenalp & Hoher Kasten, enjoyed gondola rides, & enjoyed Restaurant Rose which is a 5 minute walk from the house. We would definitely return & stay at this amazing home. Thanks Susanne & Beat.

Fairy Tale Stay in Appenzell

When you look out the windows of this beautifully renovated 500 year old Appenzell farmhouse it is so fantastic that you think you are in a fairly tale. There were delightful views from every window and easy access to everything in the area. All new interiors were beautiful. Brand new bathrooms and kitchen, tech smart windows and lighting, and a new washer and dryer washer made our stay very nice. The property was spotless and comfortable. There was private secure parking, way off the street. The property owner provided us with an Appenzell Card free of charge that provided well over $100 per person of free services in the region, from three free different cable car rides, to free electric bike and helmet rental and free museum admission to multiple museums. It was great! The property owner was easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed for a great stay! Thank you so much!
