A very nice house in a superb(for us) location! 10 minutes from our destination, and 1 minute from our Saturday night banquet! Can’t do better!

When we pulled up, we were grateful to have a place to stay while we visited family. We did not receive the address and needed to ask the owner for that information. Unfortunately the towels were not out, the sensors for the alarms were going off due to no battery, the rooms only have a bed with sheets, a light quilt, and two pillows for each room. There was not much in terms of storage or places to place our belongings. The bathrooms had mold growing on the ceiling, the air filter was filled with dust and must not have been cleaned or changed what do ever. The faucet was coming out of the wall for the guest shower. The smell in the home was of old smoke and mildew. We would leave and feel great and come back to sleep and wake up feeling sick and full of allergens due to the air filter being full. We had to buy things to help with the smell on the sheets and the home. Once we got an extra comforter, extra pillows, and more candles we managed to sleep in the home but did not spend any of our extra time at the house. It had a good location to I10 and we were able to get to paces easily. Over all we would rank this stay a 1/5 and hope the owner is able to help ensure more sanitary living spaces for their VRBO.

Neglected Property In Good Location
Property was in disrepair with several health and safety hazards. Some examples include a foul-smelling unusable dishwasher, missing rubber guard on disposal, sprung oven door, broken microwave door, dirty silverware, many missing lightbulbs throughout, and broken legs on both kitchen table chairs. There were also numerous inconveniences including undersized sheets (double size top sheet on a king bed), small flat pillows, broken alarm clock, bright white spots on TV, and a disactivated alarm system that randomly beeped at night. In addition, the master bathroom door and floor tile were damaged from what appeared to be from a violent forcible entry. On a positive note, the property is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. With a bit of maintenance and proper attention it has the potential to be a great rental property.

Great home base for touring the surrounding area!
This home was a great place to rest, relax, and recharge after a long day of exploring. We needed a central location for touring plantations from Nottoway to Destrehan and the others in between. This house was perfect! The owner was very quick to respond to questions. The home was very comfortable. We would stay here again.
