Welcome to our charming village house in the heart of Gordes
Located in the historic center of Gordes, our typical Gordian home has been beautifully renovated in a clean, minimalist style. It combines the charm of the old with modern comfort and offers breathtaking views of the Luberon from nearly every room. Ideal for family holidays or getaways with friends, you'll enjoy the rare privilege of staying in the heart of the village while having your own private pool and peaceful outdoor space.

The house is spread over three levels and offers 5 bedrooms, arranged in 3 independent suites for optimal comfort:

Second floor (top level)
Dedicated to a family suite including:

1 double bedroom (160 cm bed) with a bathtub in the room and magical views of the Luberon

1 adjoining single bedroom (90x200 cm bed) with a wooden baby cot and panoramic view

1 bathroom with shower and sink, and a separate toilet

Please note: there are no house numbers in Gordes. To find the house:

Walk past the front entrance of the church (on the pharmacy and bakery side—not behind the church).

Just after the Rosier real estate agency (opposite the castle), turn right onto Rue de l’Église.

At the intersection with Rue de la Fontaine Basse, you’ve arrived.

Before passing under the archway, look to your right.

Three steps lead up to a blue door (with peeling paint) – that’s the house.

The key box is located in the window frame just before the steps.

Location is unbelievable. Lots of room.House is in keeping with the location of Gordes, beautiful stone apartment.Minutes stroll to the shops, cafes and restaurants and if you get too hot, return to the apartment for private dip.Beautiful views and look out points surround the apartment.Weekly Gordes market on Tuesday morning is a short stroll too.

Nous avons loué cette maison pour 8 nuits en juin 2026. Points positifs : •La localisation au centre du village. •Les lits sont confortables. •La cuisine est OK, la salle à manger un peu rudimentaire mais OK. Points négatifs : •Les marches en pierre, très irrégulières et bien plus hautes que la normale, étaient très difficiles à franchir ; elles ne conviennent donc pas aux enfants ni aux personnes à mobilité réduite. •Les stores des fenêtres bloquent et ne fonctionnent pas bien. •Partout, des panneaux de contreplaqué provisoires et peu pratiques ont été installés à la place de vraies portes. Pour une chambre et une toilette ces portes provisoires étaient cassées. •Dans une salle de bain il y avait une odeur d’égouts avec une fuite du tuyau d’égout. •Le jardin était en désordre et le barbecue devrait être jeté à la poubelle. •La table dans le jardin et les chaises longues à la piscine sont pourris et inutilisables. •A notre arrivée, il y avait un tas de serviettes lavés, placées les unes sur les autres dans la buanderie sans être séchées préalablement. Pour éviter qu’elles pourrissent nous avons commencer à les sécher. •Les murs sont mal entretenus avec plafonnage et peintures inachevés, notamment dans la salle à manger. •Tout ceci n’est pas visibles sur les photos publiées sur le site. Conclusion :Cette maison a du potentiel mais n’est actuellement pas prêt à être loué. Nous ne pouvons pas recommander de séjourner dans cette maison dans l’état

In our opinion, this apartment has potential but is not currently ready to rent. Temporary inefficient plywood slabs were installed instead of proper doors everywhere, the pool was nice but because there was no stairs or ladder we couldn't get in or out. The garden was in disarray and the bbq should go to the garbage. Attention! Much higher than normal stone steps were very difficult to navigate, therefore not good for children and those with reduced mobility. Unfortunately the house was not cleaned and the beds were not made on arrival, however, with the assistance of VRBO, the owner accepted responsibility and reimbursed approximately fifty percent of the rental fee. Fortunately the beds were comfortable. In its current condition, we can't recommend staying at this property.
