A charming place , very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. The breakfast is wonderful, you should try the waffles, so delicious. The room is so cosy and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel is right in the centre of Gothenburg, 400 m from the central station. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was so pleased with my extended stay. The hotel is centrally located, in beautiful condition and provides one of the most welcoming environments I’ve ever experienced. The daily breakfast is phenomenal. I truly appreciated the access to tea and coffee throughout the day as well as the Fika treats. I will definitely return and highly recommend to friends and family visiting Göteborg, Sweden.

Hotel Royal is gem. The staff are caring and friendly, the breakfast is to die for, and the afternoon snacks are delicious. It’s in an easily walkable area, just a couple blocks from central station. We were returning guests, and hope to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, lovely staff, really good breakfast, large room, and fresh cake and tea in the afternoons. The only drawback for us was the noise- we were in Room 356, above the front entrance near the apex of 4 streets, and there was a lot of extraneous noise till 2am, and then early morning from the building works opposite. Ask for a room further away from the lift and stairs

Mycket bra frukost och framför allt trevlig personal och trevligt att det bjuds på fika på kvällen, perfekt att sitta och arbeta med en god nybakad chokladkaka och gott kvällste. Rummen är lite gammeldags och v'ldigt små och sängarna för mjuka för min smak, men trots det så kommer jag gärna åter!
