This Motel is a hidden gem and I would highly recommend! We checked in after hours which was easily done and our rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The king beds were so comfy which was highly appreciated after travelling, and we all raved about the AMAZING shower head- I now want one for home! To top the experience off, we were able to have a beautiful breakfast at the cafe next door before we left. My only complaint is that our stay wasn't long enough! We will definitely stay at the Abbey Motel again.

We have stayed here on at least 3 or 4 ocasions over the past 5 years. My only comment is that the bed in room 6 needs replacing as it appears to have lost it's firmness. Yes we have stayed in room 6 on our first ocassion.

From check in to check out, our entire stay, both times has been wonderful. The lovely ladies on reception are quick with a smile, nothing is too much trouble and happy to recommend a good place to eat. Check out the Hiberion round the corner for an excellent meal. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. I initially thought the bed was too soft when I sat down but when I got in after a days driving….ooh heavenly. I’ve now stayed here twice and will do so again. Highly recommended.
