Beautiful village house in Goult

Ideally located at the entrance of the village of Goult, the house sits in the heart of a small hamlet. Though recently constructed, the property contains all the charm and traditional materials of the region. The main door opens onto a staircase leading to the ground floor. Here you will find a living area and one bedroom. Upstairs you will lead you to three additional bedrooms.
Going down these entrance stairs to the right, you arrive in the fully equipped kitchen with a large table for family meals. In the next room, a large living room with high ceilings offers all the comfort for moments of relaxation around a warm fireplace. Thanks to the many glass doors, the rooms are very bright. Moreover, they all have access to the terrace and garden. The master bedroom to the left of the stairs is very spacious with large closets. It has its own shower room with wash basin. Independent toilets are located right next to the stairs. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with double beds, one of which has its own shower room. The third bedroom with twin beds has an en suite shower room. These share a separate WC.
The garden is shaded by a magnificent oak tree. The pool is sunny all day. There is a part of a covered terrace with dining for lunch in the shade and a seating area to relax. This home offers every comfort for a perfect family vacation!

Spent an amazing week here with ages 6 months to 80 years, and a terrific time was had by all! Ideal location just a few min walk to a beautiful village that’s not crowded with tourists yet has everything you need with friendly shopkeepers, and just 15 min to so many quintessential towns of the Luberon. The air conditioning is nice for summer, including when we arrived in late May. The pool is comfortably warm and in sun all day, yet there’s also plenty of shade nearby on the loungers and on the huge patio. Beds are comfortable, linens are of good quality, and plentiful bath and pool towels are provided. Strong and reliable wifi throughout the home, which we learned after moving properties from another home in the village is not always a given with the older homes with thick walls and quirky wiring. Although this is a new build, it has plenty of charm and character, and the benefit of modern comforts and design. Would not hesitate to book again!

Very pleasant house just on the edge of Goult, a two minute walk to village centre. House was clean and well equipped and had recently installed air con throughout. Large pool and adequate outdoor space. Herve the manager was very helpful and responsive. Great stay.

The villa is beautiful and very well equipped. We loved the location! Goult is a very relaxing, tranquil village with everything you need for a fantastic holiday. We had some lovely meals in the village. The location is great for sightseeing with so many beautiful places very close by. We always enjoyed coming back to the villa after a day out and going to the local cafes for a drink. I would totally recommend!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Goult. The house is perfectly located only a few minutes by foot from the village. The house is very well equipped and quiet. Herve, the property manager, is fantastic, accommodating and easy to work with. The village of Goult has a nice store for groceries and household items, a butcher and cheese shop and several good restaurants.

Happy at Home in the Village

Our week was so fantastic because of the great accommodations and the helpful property manager. Life centered around the pool and we enjoyed various outdoor perches around it, and the kitchen was well equipped and welcoming and home to many fun meals. Modern conveniences made life pleasant and easy and the tasteful decor made relaxing in the living room conducive to conversations, movies, reading and naps. The location is superb, just a stone's throw from the bakery and cafe, which meant a lot to us because I have been coming to Goult for more than 15 years. One of my very most enjoyable and comfortable stays in many years!

Fabulous stay!

What a beautiful home in a beautiful village! The home was spotless and comfortable. We walked the very short walk into the town center where you can find whatever you may need. We spent time in the lovely garden area and used the heated pool, as it was unseasonably hot. Herve was a fine host, answering any questions we had, and responded quickly to our requests. Note: You will need to bring your own soap, shampoo, etc, as there were none at the house. We always have them, so it was not a problem for us.

Well appointed property

Very spacious, comfortable house and well-appointed house. Everything is there so you can either relax around the pool or in the salle d'été or head out to explore the area. Hervé made us and our golden retriever very welcome. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent house in Goult

We had a lovely time staying here in July. The house is part of a small development and is a couple of minutes walk from the village. Goult has a superb bakery and several restaurants. The village is a great base for exploring this area. This is a lovely property, well maintained, furnished and equipped. The agents Hervé and Sandra were so helpful throughout and dealt with everything so promptly. We would happily stay here again.

A great place to be

Beautiful house in a wonderfull surrounding. The house offers all you need to enjoy your stay in the provence. We enjoyed the dinners on the terrace, the morning dive in the pool and the roadtrips to the nearby towns and villages. Herve and Sandra are really helpfull and absolutely responsive. And last but not least : Goult must be one of the prettiest towns in the wider area ! We definitely recommend this house !!

Amazing location with luxury living

We spent over two weeks at this beautiful property and could not have asked for more! All communication was responsive and timely and the property itself was absolutely beautiful! Spectacular Luberon, explored from a gem of a village house

Our party of 4 adults spent 2 weeks in this lovely village house in what must be one of the quietest, but no less beautiful villages in the Luberon. We had good directions from Herve prior to our arrival. The house has excellent facilities, inside and outside, a lovely pool, good sun loungers, well equipped kitchen, huge showers in the bathrooms and very sturdy and comfortable beds. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Walking distance (literally 3 mins) from village shops (epicerie, yummy patisserie and fromagerie) and 3 superb high end restaurants. We were surprised that there is only one cafe (Cafe de la Poste) which was obviously the hub of social gathering and was buzzing every day and evening. The melon festival was a sight to behold. The view from the windmill at the top of the village was amazing. The house was a great base from which to explore the area - beautiful villages like Gordes, Roussillon and the town of Apt all within 30 mins drive, and Avignon is a must (to dance on the bridge of course) and the Avignon free park and ride worked really well. But the sheer spectacular jaw dropping splendour of the Pont du Gard and the Roman Theatre at Orange are simply not to be missed - each within an hour's easy drive. We had superb sunny weather throughout our stay, which made the pool particularly welcome on return from a hot day out trawling the local markets or sightseeing. Jennifer the cleaner visited twice and was very friendly and efficient. In fact all the people we met in the village, the shops and the tourist attractions were amazingly friendly and helpful. We would certainly love to return. So thanks Herve for making our stay so relaxed and such a pleasure. All the best to everyone in Goult!

Well designed townhouse, close to centre of village

If you love Goult, you will love this accommodation. The only drawback .. It is advertised as a four bedroom home .. but would be better suited to two or three couples rather than 4, as it has only 2 toilets. The pool and garden area are quiet and private.

Gorgeous property, great location

A very nice property located in the heart of one of our favorite towns in the Luberon. Beautifully finished inside, lovely modern kitchen and bathrooms, big walk in showers with rain heads. Good furnishings, comfortable and spacious living room. Outdoor spaces also lovely, but too late in the year for us to enjoy the pool. Location is perfect, just 100 meters up to main square for the market, two bakers, several tasty restaurants, our fave being the Cafe de la Poste. Only small drawback for us was that the two WCs (for four bedrooms) were located in the upstairs and downstairs halls. For our small group, an adult couple and two teen girls, that was OK, but for us spoiled folks, we prefer our own ensuite WCs if we were travelling in a group of adult couples. For many people this would not be an issue, and I'll restate that the ensuite portions of the bathrooms were top notch, American level :) Entry was easy, and we very much appreciated that Herve was able to meet us at 930pm for check in, and was also very helpful via text at the drop of a hat. Great service! Bottom line, if you are looking for a lovely, stylish place in the heart of the Luberon, with modern appliances and fixtures, furnishings at a reasonable price (and who isn't?) this place will totally fit the bill. Lovely house in a great position

We were a party of five adults and a two year old child. We loved this spacious property, especially the living room, and relaxing by the pool in the late afternoon sun was a perfect way to end the day. The owners have thought about everything and their attention to detail is second to none. The property is in a quiet location yet it's only a short walk to the local shops, restaurants and bar. Perfect.

Best Home in Provence

This is a fabulous house in a perfect location in Luberon Provence. You can walk to 3-4 excellent restaurants and grocery markets but the joy are the easy trips to Avignon, Gordes, the perfect lunch on the terrace at the Bastide Hotel in Gorde, isle sir Le Sorgue. Everything was perfect great entry and exit. Home beautifully equipped. Hope to return

House was very comfortable. Outside perfect. Only complaints would be separate toilets from bathrooms (typical French) and no wash basin in upstairs toilet. Could have done with a bigger freezer as the village shop was very restricting but useful. A bigger freezer would have enabled us to do a big shop in a supermarket and would have been cheaper. We all enjoyed our stay. Would like to congratulate the management for their help and the exceptionally quick return of our deposit.

Charming Village - Wonderful stay

This home is in a great location, walking distance to the town square. It was well appointed and comfortable. It was very hot during our stay, so the pool was a wonderful bonus. The hosts are very responsive - we would recommend this home! The local patisserie/boulangerie is delicious, however it was closed all but 2 days of our stay. We also tried to make reservations at Carillion, as it had gotten good reviews. They were booked the entirety of our stay of 7 days, so make reservations ahead of time if you are interested in dining there. The market on Thursday was a nice surprise and we found many neighboring villages to visit as well. Goult is charming. We will definitely visit again!
