The property seems grand at first but the rooms are small and basic. I've seen 2 star places with better rooms Good breakfast Biggest problem was that we planned to visit Alhambra but needed to book a month ahead 😢

The staff at the hotel are excellent...........from the dining room to the bar-snack room and the front desk. Cleaning services are A+. Including breakfast in your reservation saves money and the foods offered are broad and enjoyable. The location of Alixares is perfect for a visit to the Alhambra.

We have just spent 3 days at the Hotel , which is located next to Alhambra and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and quick to respond to requests or queries. The food was very good with lots of choice and replenished quickly. Bedding and towels were changed frequently. Would stay again.

5 minute walk to the alhambra! 25 walk to city center but there is a bus that stops right by hotel for less than 2 euro each way. The hotel is nothing fancy but it's clean and the rooms were spacious. It's great value for the price especially if you go during off season I would definitely stay here again!

Neat, clean and strategic location. Staff were very helpful ! Unfortunately, they don’t have their own parking area, which means you have to pay and park your car in the Alhambra car park next door- which costs 22-30 gbp a day.
