Cozy hotel in a fantastic location. Easy to walk to most places, as well as close to the bus stops. Central atrium area and library room were lovely additional spaces to enjoy. The room was a great size, especially the bathroom. However the lighting was dim, and the wiring was chaotic - some switches operated odd combinations of lights, and one light we couldn't find a switch for at all! It became a very strange 'what's that switch' game. Also, the door lock was broken - it actually came straight out of the door!

Not very a boutique hotel. Mold in the toilet and lots of humidity. Saw a few bugs. Lack of cleaning products. Cute and small. Kind of noisy though. Very central and super well located. Instructions for parking and getting there very clear. Parking super small so don’t have a big SUV. Or even a small one.

We love this hotel and would gladly stay there again. Everyone and everything was terrific and the property is gorgeous! The only downside is the driving map they provide - it was extremely confusing. That said, we had a great stay!

The building has been beautifully restored. The rooms are big and tastefully decorated with a lovely bathroom and really comfy bed. The common parts are really charming and it is such a peaceful place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The WhatsApp communications invaluable. It was perfect for a romantic stay

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. The decorations are cute and the property had a unique local feel to it. The staff was great and we had free breakfast, a free bottle of wine and free internet. The location is in the heart of the city and easy walking distance to most attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.

Very high standard of service

We had a lovely time at the Gar Amat Boutique Hotel. The service was exemplary, all the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Our room was spacious and breakfast was tasty. Two pointers for the future - we had to run the taps for many minutes to receive hot water for the shower, while we also did t appreciate the open toaster / grill at breakfast, which was exceptionally hot and potentially dangerous. But we would recommend this hotel.
