The motel has gone down hill from when it opened up. For the price, it should be a 5 star hotel and it has not had updates in a very long time. Disappointed for the price we paid. If we had not had an event in the Alerus Center which is attached, we would have stayed in a different motel. It is nice to have bars inside of the motel.

The room cleanliness was okay, but right outside of our door was neglected. Garbage on the floor and dirty carpet. The toilet in our room did not work properly and we had to have maintenance fix it. The shower did not work properly, and was barely more than a stream. They need to update the facility. It’s not what is expected for how much the rooms are.

The hotel was great except there was a lot of cold air blowing from the bottom of the climate control unit. We had to set up a barricade to stop the cold air from blowing in the room.

Room was in good condition, front desk lady was helpful. Checked in at 6:30 pm, was told the pool was closing early at 7pm. Went for a walk around the hotel later and there were still people swimming at 7:30. If the pool was closing at 7 the doors should’ve been locked. Not once did we see anyone working the pool area or desk at our stay. As hotel guests the slides and everything else should be available to us. I’m a paying customer and I can’t even get access to all the amenities, not okay. For the price that I payed I don’t feel as if I received my moneys worth.

We had an excellent stay at Canad Inns. The free shuttle to and from the airport is a bonus particularly for those needing to fly out of GFK from outside of town. Rooms are spacious and clean and the free breakfast (not a buffet but a choice of classic or pancakes) was tasty. Would stay here again.

Room was clean and staff was great! Bring your own pillows as the pillows provided are equivalent to a decorative couch throw pillow. The other downfall was the breakfast. Eggs were hard and food was cold.

We love the hotel itself and the staff are great, however the beds are TERRIBLY uncomfortable. I definitely wish they could be upgraded, and then we'd for sure be back. Our smoke alarms also randomly went off as we were coming back from the pool, not sure what happened but staff promptly came to fix

We stayed in the family room with bunk beds, great room, kids loved it. The pool is so awesome and went to the arcade, which was small but fun. We got free breakfast vouchers for Aaltos which was great!!! We all love this hotel.
