Elevator did not work, place looked like it hadn’t been updated since early 2000’s. Did not want to walk on carpet in rooms without shoes on. Walls and doors had past gunk on them, don’t think they’ve ever been cleaned. Honestly just hoping I didn’t bring bedbugs home. Not sure how this hotel was rated 8.2 on Expedia. Now the service at the counter that was great. No complaints there.

Disappointing Stay – Needs Major Updates The hotel’s location on a busy street made for a noisy stay, with motorcycles roaring by late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. A quieter location off the main road would have been much better. The room itself felt outdated—the toilet seat cover and bathtub appeared to be at least a decade old. The swing lock on the door was broken, raising security concerns, and the hallways had visible holes in the walls, adding to the overall rundown feel of the place. On a positive note, the hotel was conveniently close to the State Fair, and the refrigerator in the room seemed new and kept things cold. However, due to the excessive noise and lack of maintenance, I wouldn’t stay here again.

When we arrived, we weren't greeted despite there being no one in front of us. I had to approach the lady at the desk to check us in after standing in front of them for about 15 minutes. Breakfast here is a joke. Supposed to start at 6:00 am and there was no one there until much later. Meanwhile the house keepers were knocking loudly on doors to clean out peoples rooms at 6:00 am. The lamp shapes were broken and disgusting. Hardly any outlets to plug in chargers. I would not stay here again.

Don’t waste your time here

Hair in the shower hair in the sheets the building itself had a smell right when you walked through the door. Guy at the front desk was to busy on a personal phone call to give my ID back I had to ask him for it back. Then after being in my room for 30 minutes he called asking for me to come back down because he forgot to put my debit card down for incidentals, not impressed

Beds were comfortable, property overview said pet friendly which is why it was chosen. was sure to put in a request for a dog friendly room then was told there’s a $15 unexpected pet fee regardless if the pet made a mess when we checked in. That was a little frustrating. The breakfast was missing milk for the cereal. Overall it wasn’t the best experience

Great for a low-cost get-away

My husband and I just wanted to have an overnight get-away trip and checking in was smooth and professional. We loved the big jetted tub while relaxing and watching a movie. The plug in the tub was a little hard to figure out but we got it. Everything in the room was kind of a mix of old and new but it was comfortable and super clean. The bathroom door was the one downside. It was a pocket door with a broken handle and was difficult to slide (and noisy 😬). The location was quiet and the heater/AC was quiet too. The best thing about the breakfast was the waffle machine but otherwise it was pretty minimal choices.
