Got room because heat went out at house. Only heat source in hotel room was a floor space heater that made a loud high pitched squeal when turned on, driving dog crazy and giving us headaches. Desk clerk should be reported for animal abuse. As he had 2 dogs in his car in the freezing cold, just periodically checking on them. At 1 point thought 1 of his dogs was going to jump out car window and attack my dog as he was acting very aggressive. Left within 20-30 minutes.

It was within walking distance of the airport. We had an early flight and didn’t know if there was a way to get to the airport. There was no shampoo or conditioner or anyway to get it. It would have been nice to at least be able to ask the front desk for some. There were some sketchy people there and they were loud walking to and from their rooms at all hours of the night. Overall it served it purpose.

Check in was quick and easy, but I think thr front desk staff doesn't lole bothered since there was a handwritten sign on the door claiming no rooms were available, but the parking lot wasn't that full. My room was clean, but distressed. It's kind of a funny layout with the wall lamp in the middle of the wall but the bed is set up in the corner. Bed was too firm for good comfort, but I was able to drift in and out of sleep. I got a room at the back, and the property is next to a field, so there was very little light and sound and the other guests were quiet, so all in all a good stay.

One of the worst stays ever. No shampoo was available in the room or front desk; couldn't wash my hair. To make matters worse, there's no seat cover on the toilet to sit down after showering. Tv remote didn't work; had to turn on manually. Only 1 station available. Next to the airport with noise late night and early morning from the planes. Not sure what was going on in Grand Junction this weekend, and why other hotels were so high. First and last time I'll stay at any Motel 6.
