Vallet was a mess, spent 10 minutes waiting in turnout. Emded up.self parking. Party that was not shut down until just before midnight. Water in shower never got warm. We planned on going to Wolfgangs but woke up Sunday morning with pinkeye (first time we left house since Wednesday due to.weather)! We could not leave fast enough.

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. The restaurant choices were great for adults and kids. The pool was a huge hit. We were in town for a hockey tournament and being able to use the skywalk was a BIG plus!

We’ve stayed here many times in the past, so take that into account. Room was nice as always, really liked the gym as well. Many options of equipment. Front desk gal was a bit nonchalant at check in. Almost seemed like I was a hinderance to her day. Really the only disappointment of the trip, but not a good first impression. Bellhop Fayez is always a delight and a shining star of the facility. They need to clone him. And all the valets were exceptional as well, as always. They hire very nice young men as valets. We will be back! Location is perfect, amazing room views and nice ambiance.

Although the rooms themselves are a bit dated, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, historic property with a warm & attentive staff. A true jewel in downtown Grand Rapids.

No soap in the bathroom, toilet and faucet leak when used, gentleman at check in was dismissive and rude. Worst of all there wasn’t any hot water for the shower!
