Big house
The house was clean and tidy. We were there to just sleep and not entertain. I would say that for our family preferences, we’d stay in a more quiet area of the city. This part of Grand Rapids while charming is busier than we expected. This is no fault of the host. Her description of the home and what was included was spot on. It is an old house but VERY charming and cozy. Lots of great coffee shops and eateries nearby etc. Good value and stay overall.

Stayed here for my daughter's graduation from GVSU. Beautiful historic home in the East town neighborhood. Great restaurants in a walkable distance and a short drive to downtown GR.

Calvin Graduation
We had a lovely stay at this house. Room for everyone and close to Calvin University. We all came to celebrate our daughter's graduation!! House was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Only a few downsides (that are unavoidable) it is located on a very busy street(lot of road noise) and only one bathroom for 6 adults 😉. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Quick Stay in GR
Was in town checking out college for kid and wanted a place to stay and check out more of city. Was able to take ride share to places and vehicle parked in small garage. Had what we needed for night , keep in mind old time charm of older home when staying.

Spacious Home
This property was spacious and light-filled. It has 3 bedrooms (we only needed one) but it was nice to have a large living room and kitchen for a light breakfast each morning. One issue was the bathroom which really needs an update. The shower needs a lot of work - I had a difficult time getting the hot water turned on - the handle needs replacement. The water pressure was really low and the mat in the tub should be replaced as well as the bathroom rug. Neither looked very clean. The shower curtain was too small and did not go around the shower rod which made taking a shower a bit chilly. The only other issue was the driveway - it should have been salted and the steps to the entrance shoveled. It had snowed, melted and refrozen - walking into the house was treacherous - very slippery, especially with handling luggage and waking on thick ice.
